Hi Hubers Help please, is anyone able to identify the manufacturer and period this seat stem is from? It's a quill style stem and came off an old Vitus.

This is my 1st year back in SA and was looking forward to following the TDF from the comfort of the couch. I can't believe the poor commentary DSTV has signed into for this year's TDF, what are they thinking! Surely they could have purchased a better coverage package given the exorbitant monthly fees? The sound quality and volume is poor. Anyone know where I can get an alternative commentary broadcast?

Hi Boot. I live in Cheetah Crescent and use the Spruit occasionally. We have never had any problems but are always aware of our surroundings and keep a look out for any potential danger spots. I sometimes ride alone. Having lived in Riverclub in the early 1990's and Rivonia for a couple of years we have heard of problems over the years. It seems to come and go. Best advise is to be careful, avoid under the freeway towards Witkoppen Road and down the Cypress Walk area of Riverclub if lots of vagrants (also weigh up situation by the Riverside shopping centre at times if vagrants are drinking and rowdy). I would be happy to meet for a chat if you want, send me a PM.
