    I heard about the commotion. Was also wondering why so many peeps were taking the short cut back. I took off with A and believe me, I didn't even know there were bees. Didn't see one to be honest. hope all who got stung are ok

    if memory serves, did we not get a bottle of wine last year as well? i remember sitting on one of those plastic chairs and downing a bottle of wine in the icy cold wind.

    entered about 3 weeks back already. this is such a nice event. cant wait!!!!

    they have overhead scanners now it seems. i saw it at the finish and i may have seen at the start as well, not sure. nice upgrade! the race was perfect and loved it. the organisers must have got it right because every1 on the hub is quiet

    Have to agree with Roux, the direction markers were missing. I took a couple of wrong turns but luckily did not ride too far off. As for the route it was awesome.

    what really cheeses me off is that the minute it is a multi-stage event then the entry cost goes more than R500 per day and that's for the real cheap events with the start and finish venue the same for all stages.

    17 June till 18 july lol. Small typo there. Was planning on doing this but only the stage 2 ride until I read I will have to start after the riders doing both stages. Opting for patat fees rather.

    gonna be a lekka one. plan on doing the Thys du Toit 85km event the day before. just hope my legs will get me over Groenlandberg in a hurry.

    easy to fix....there are a couple of PPA mtb events lined up during the months leading up to this event. I suggest u do some and up your seeding...
