    that's what I thought as well, however, I received an sms yesterday indicating that race starts at 7am.

    any1 know how many batches for the 68? is the official starting time 7am or 7:30am? If at 7am, i will have to mount my big ass light into bike

    It was a bit silly having C and D in the same shute. But no problem, the ride was great.

    Not a fact dude, I took off in C and there was a marshal pleading that only C riders to come forward. He even checked my board for the C sticker. I think the confusion came in that C and D started in the same shuts.

    C and D were never meant to start together. some of the D riders did manage to dodge the marshal and slip into the C batch. My finish time according to SASeeding was 5 min longer than my recorded time. I time all my rides with my cell phone as well and not just with my computer.

    agree! it depends on the rider and application.

    i also tried those ikons twice already and they both de-laminated. maybe it was just a bad batch. in fact i still have those tyres at home with about 95% tread left. i rendered those tyres useless for tubeless systems. it will however still work with a tube.

    The organization for this event was top class!!! To the organisers, give yourselves a big pat on the backs. It seems u shut us skeptics mouths. You set the bar high, so pls maintain it. I loved everything about it. Well marked, great refreshment stations, lots and lots and lots of route marshalls and fantastic route. Can't wait for #2.

    I only have bad things to say about conti's protection. After 2 years of that crap I went back to old faithfuls, racing Ralph rear and rocket Ron front. Tleasy snakeskin.
