  6. Sorry bout that, thought had revised the suspension across the board - guess we have to wait for the trickle down effect. Consider me suitably informed
  7. Mate of min has one and dig's his! Trek are supposed to worked out all the kinks and updates with its rear suspension and it performs well. Looks to be getting pretty good reviews in the mags too. Take one for a test ride, best way to find out if you like it or not... At 20k you got options too
  8. Hey Rock, please send contacts for the "bead blasting and powder coating". Looks like the guy did a slick job and I am keen to get my frame re-done... Also how much did it cost you?
  9. Eish, sorry Daemon...will start a thread all on my own. Guys please go to pages 1-3 and look at Daemons bike, not our rambling on On-One products.... I must say, I am getting stoked about planning a ride on a steel bike!!!
  10. Daemon - sswwwweeeeet ride. I saw the first post of yours a while ago and I've been waiting for the end result! Post pics when you convert to SS please. *hijack* KiWi can you get your mit's on the On-One 456 frames???? How much?
  11. Nice bike stand in the pics...how many times did it get drained while you were building that sucker? Bike ain't to bad neither....
  12. b2b, a riding buddy of mine bought a prebuilt set - Pro2's with DT 5.1 rims all black 32 hole. He has had to get the rear wheel true'ed after it settled in but otherwise those wheels are pretty for life after that. He is super stoked and they are plenty strong. You just can't go wrong with Hope, I chose Mavic a while ago...regretting it to this day!!!!
  13. Nope sorry lads, the Aerozine bolts don't work. I too have a set of ODI's with no bolts... Droo - Olympic said they could order for me... You must have been bleak to get all the way back here and have no bolts. I know I was, but I only went as far as Kenilworth
  14. those things are awesome!!!! Try turn round though - somewhat difficult. Definitely so the straight line riding. The last one looks like it comes out of the cartoon The Jetsons..
  15. mmmm...Pop corn anyone....
  16. Hey Crow Sorry i missed the nudge for a pm to ride...maybe this week? Rode on Sunday and there was magic dirt on the trail. Every berm was railed every landing was smoothed and the shova fly like a bird!!! Those pic's look wild bro, gonna try get a spin in on friday or saturday if you keen...hell if anyones keen
  17. I think the IMBA have got i good thing going, they have done heaps for mtb over the years, longer than most hubbers have been around. Can't say I agree with the uphill downhill thing that they specify, but that is widely known as the correct course of action. However, on personal principle - I choose to let downhillers go past purely because I love the buzz of a DH and having it interupted isn't so much fun and I am hoping somewhere along the line somone will do the same for me... Arrogance on a trail just ain't cool!!!!!
  18. i-drive that aint the point!!! Airlines continually loose bags' date=' break stuff, damage items...the list goes on! Don't be all p.c. about the problem!! Airlines stuff things up, seesm the have even been able to bugger a bike up in a bike bag [/quote'] Take the time to actually read what he said, he isn't being PC. It's a fact the airline don't loose bags, break 'stuff' or damage items since the baggage handling is handled by either the airport or contracted staff. So the point would be to lay the complaint at the actual company operating the airport, even though 1Time or whichever airline will process a claim on your behalf. Point taken - seems I am getting myself in trouble all over the hub today... I think the underlying tone here for me is people do not think like me - there is no way I would treat someones else's possessions with complete disrespect....
  19. Ag Shame Willie - its still a road bike!!! Just taken the p1ss, looks really cool - for a road bike...hehehe
  20. Yip, seems a bit daft
  21. i-drive that aint the point!!! Airlines continually loose bags, break stuff, damage items...the list goes on! Don't be all p.c. about the problem!! Airlines stuff things up, seesm the have even been able to bugger a bike up in a bike bag
  22. HAHAHA, nice one TNT!!! That bridge is eventually going to leave out of its own accord... As for conti tires, i have a 2.3 Vertical with protection. Grips really well front and back (universal) and has worn really well. The protection is nice if you in rocky areas, but it it ain't light...
  23. Yeah me too, have only bought one or two items from hubber but they have been in mint condition for pre-owned stuff... Always stuff has been cleaned and if posted then properly packaged, plastic protectors put into disk brake calipers etc... I suppose if you gonna sell parts to a hubber, sell it like you would expect to buy it!!!
