Anyone taking anything to ride better is a potential doper. How many fun riders in sunny South Africa dope knowingly. I think a very high percentage. A while ago a lot of guys were using some testosterone booster. There is guys openly pushing the stuff. The case in point in all probability happened out of pure ignorance. Body builder not really a top end cyclist somewhere at the back of the pack. Really bad luck to be tested. I think he must have gone HUH you want to test me.It is unusual for a person in that position to be tested due to the costs involved. Did someone perhaps split on him? A buddy perhaps? Who knows.

You cannot ride any race. You cannot even go to a race as a spectator. Even a around the church event.

When will we start hearing about the doping. Who will make confessions after retiring that they doped. Was way to good to be true.

When you read the agreement with the Race Organiser it is termed as an transaction fee of R 7.50 per entry + 4.5% of the amount. The organiser can decide whether it should be included in the entry or whether it should be added additionally. So as with the other entry companies just add it to the entry fee and everybody will be happy. This is the fee CC gets for processing your entry. Maybe wrong wording on web-site. They are entitled to charge you a fee for the entry, the compilation of a database, etc. Nobody will do it for free. This is the service fee for entry and not a credit card related fee. What does other companies charge the organiser per entry. Between R 30 and R 50.00 Some of these companies run an cartel like operation forcing other races to use their entry system, timing system, to be counted in. What a monopoly. Wonder about unfair competition. Maybe those that make the allegegation that CH is dishonest should retract their staements.

I think it is because the e-mail advertises the race. The small print on the entry site can maybe be forwarded to the start page. Something like this right at the top. "Please note you are about to make use of the Championchip race entry service. Cost for this service is R 7.50 and an amount of 4% of the total amount spend on entries." The question is will it be necessary as after this thread we all will know how it works. Some service providers charge as much as R 35 @ entry excluding vat which is just slapped onto your entry fee.

Shame in this day and age the little guy has such a lot of names. Will most probaly end up with the nickname TEW.

Over the years Colin took so much abuse from cyclists which resulted in him having this type of reaction to this type of thing.
