I think that he was fine. Perhaps a bit over the top, but maybe that's what our road cycling needs to create an atmosphere. Durban races have battled with support and sponsorship in the last few years (namely tour durban and that now finished Belgotex carpets race) and I for one am very, very grateful to MTN for coming on board and throwing huge money at it to make the day happen... I think a lot of you are very ungrateful... what if MTN was not there?

Found an interesting letter written to the editor which really grips on one of the things that I really hate about those that dope. The reader was writing in to the editor about why he thinks Ivan Basso should not allowed back into the peleton... It goes: My biggest issue with Basso is that (just like Virenque) he denied, denied and lied. Blatantly. He lied to his team of the time (CSC). He lied to the press and his fans. He lied to Johan Bruyneel to secure another contract. All the time smirking, smiling, and bemoaning the injustice of the accusations against him - accepting no responsibility. Whaddya think?

in the UK they're here for about ?230, which is about R3600... but you still have to buy SA road maps which is and extra R1000... so the price is right...
