  1. Can't wait to head back up to the Cliffhanger trail!
  2. This looks rad! The vibe and gees around the enduro style format is amazing, so why not combine some gravel with that. Keen for that free Houw Hoek pie at the end
  3. Ciovita have the Cargo and Apex Cargo (higher end). Really nifty, with a mesh pocket on each leg and two on the back. Great for storing things that need quick access on the legs, or out of your shirt should you need more space, want to let it flap etc.
  4. Very keen for this!
  5. Trance X is 135mm rear, 150mm up front. You can also throw on a 120mm Fox 34 for down country vibes.
  6. haha never mind! Hope you come right.
  7. Define filter? It's a 3 layer mask, the inner layer is a washable filter. Just because it is removable and perishes, doesn't make it more effective.
  8. The Vye masks have a wire piece on the nose, so you can really form the fit of your masks to your face, no glasses fogging! They're also releasing an exercise specific mask tomorrow, optimizing breath-ability. https://vyecyclekit.cc/
  9. I read his first 3 sentences, and the last one. It was hilarious. "It glorifies bad behavior. Like I said, I'm sure it was fun and super rad to do, but the video glorifies drinking and riding and skipping stop signs and makes it cool. I only watched the vlog because it was posted on here. I don't spend my time watching things on the internet. That and I'm just a massive loser with a broom up my arse."
  10. love it. Peace haters
  11. Don't be so soft, it was out in the Boland, with Multiple support vehicles, all the riders are professionals that know a thing or two. Seems like keyboard hub warrior and offended millennial are becoming synonymous

  13. I think you should worry about running out of gears in the neutral zone..

  20. In my case the tendon had has healed. It is just the casing around the tendon that had some inflammation, hence the injection around that area not into the tendon. Taking it easy this week then getting back on the bike for an easy week next week to see how things go.
  21. I had a cortisone injection today, and yes all the pain is gone and is feeling better. Doc said I may be good in a week or so, the main thing is to not blindly inject into the tendon. The doc used an Ultra Sound to pin point where to inject around the tendon in five dif spots. I voiced my concern about the injection and this forum, as he is a cyclist, unlucky for you guys he said that he doubts there are any doctors posting on this forum Will let almal know how it goes, but definitely think things change per case.
  22. i suggest moving to Cape Town
  23. An injection may cause a rupture or snap. Been told to keep needles away from my achilles!!
  24. I am busy struggling with quite a sever case. Most physio's dont know what they are doing with this injury so you need to see a specialist and have some scans done. Mine has been diagnosed as degeneration in the tendon, it feels like a lump almost at the thin point behind my ankle, and all I can do is massage it to disperse the fluid in the gaps. DO NOT STRETCH it. If you can do some reverse calf raises, going down very slowly but not past negative (stretching the tendon) I am still riding but just taking it easy, my sports physio said it will take 3-5 months to heal. Wish there was a quick fix.
