  1. And one more thing: DINGDONG-dude LEARN SOME MANNERS AND STOP HI-JACKING POSTS WITH YOUR 29er ISSUES!!!!! scream off again now.
  2. Was it maybe this one? all mine!!!!!
  3. Well it depends really? You will always get more bang for your buck buying second hand, but to buy a new bike is like to buy a new car. Its just special! If you have decent components now, maybe only buy a new frame next, then start again with upgrading your components!
  4. Haven't even started to clean mine yet! Think I will just drop it at the LBS tommorow and wait for that phone call to tell me what needs replacing( the ?bb, ?new pedals, ?cluster, ?chainrings, ?brake pads, who knows what els?) But hell, that was fun!
  5. You and your bike looks way to clean!!!!!
  6. After it's first race: Wow!!!! It was steep, muddy and fun with loads of single track and downhill and this bike just took it all! Almost never used the pro-pedal mode on my shock, that is how efficient this suspension is! I am super impressed! ( you don't want to see the after pics, I will need to take it appart and rebuild the whole bike to get it cleaned-up.) Morewood
  7. Yes BB(of the bike, the shell) come in basicly 2 sizes a 68mm and 73mm. Most mtb's have the 73mm bb shell Most bbs can be fitted to these with a bit of tuning(spacers here and there) I would say just by the new bb aswell, it will cost maybe R400 extra and you will be sure it fits. I know that some brands do not interchange e.g. Truvitiv will not fit Shimano?
  8. Thanx man!!!!!!
  9. Yeah, thats right. R16500 just the frame Go and get one, you will not be sorry!!!!
  10. Ok, time for an update! So I took him(much to mucho for a her) out for a "test" ride. OMW! I really didn't expect such a massive difference! This bike is just so plush but yet efficient at the same time! Honestly, I bought it because it looked so damn nice but what a bonus when it actualy weighs less and ride so much better! I am frikkin impressed!!!
  11. Didn't weigh it yet but calculated the weight to be more or less 11.6kg. That is with alot of room(weight) to spare on components.(heavy fork, brakes, shifters, cranckset etc.)
  12. Well, hopefully it will become just as big a legend as JonnyC!Regard2009-11-13 10:55:56
