Cajees just don't give me the confidence in buying a bike through them (They do have good rates). Lot's of those guys probably haven't ridden a bike before (I could be wrong though). Think it is important to buy through a knowledgeable delear that can set up the bike correclty for you.

2014?? Thought it was discontinued and now there is only the 27.5?

I have heard great things about the Trance but my only problem is that the 2014 only comes in a 27.5 (650b). I am looking for a 29er. So the Stumpy seems like the best alternative. Weight of the stumpy?

Any comments on the above bikes? What other bikes would be a good choice for a sub 30k dual sus mtb? To be used for enduro/trail riding.

Hi Guys, Would the Anthem X 29er be a great alternative to the Trance for stage races. (Ie. Sani2c)? I am looking to change from a 650b to a 29er but the 2014 Trance unfortunately doesn't come in 29er wheel size!

Thanks for all the advice guys! I saw Assos at cycle lab, almost feinted when I saw the price - R 4,999 for bib shorts!!!!!? My main problem is that I must buy 3 of everything for a multi stage race, so they definitely too expensive. Will look at the craft and specialised shorts as mentioned. Think saddle time and the correct saddle is the key!

Hi Guys, I know it is still VERY early to get information about the Sani2c 2015 race but after watching all the highlights on TV, I have to ride this race!! I went on the official Sani2cwebsite but I need a few questions cleared up. I would appreciate it if the seasoned campaigners could assist me! 1) Team entry cost? (2 members) 1) What is the difference between: Trail , Adventure, Race ? 2) When would entries open for a first time team entry this year for 2015? (Same as last year 5 August?) - if I can get in 3) Can you preregister and load all your information on the Sani2c website beforehand so when entry time comes, all the info is on - or is it a keyboard race and you load on the date of entry? If you have any other valuable advise for a first time 'possible' entrant, please comment. Thanks!

Haha, monster no doubt. But no use if I am dehydrated and shriveled up like a prune after the Monster. You say it is technical? My old man is going to ride. He is a fit rider but not too keen on the 'break all your bones' technical stuff. Is it VERY technical or just a few sections technical?

Emailed the organisers a while ago but got NO response. I had a question: I want to enter my dad and I into the race. I see that we will be indifferent classes due to age but I seeded us both in group 'D'. Will we ride together? If not, how can I enter a team or enter so we ride the race together opposed to riding in separate classes... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
