  6. Have you got Garmin web updater loaded ?
  7. Thank you for the kind words. We are very excited to see where she goes with this new found talent. All I am happy with at the moment is that she spends more time on Flickr than on Facebook.
  8. Our 15 year old daughter picked up my "old" Canon EOS 1000D and two months later with the help of Picasa she produced the following Flickr It is truly amazing looking at the world through another’s eyes.
  9. Dont forget to drink even if you are not thirsty. Try water at first and then move onto something that suits your taste and requirements.
  10. On my way out later yesterday after noon I passed a group going in to do the night ride. After all the good rains there was no dust and the trails are in good shape. The views with the sun setting were awesome - I need to join you guys next week.
  11. Alive and kicking, thanks Trubie, doing the mtb itch at the moment and road over the weekend. Good to hear you guys are going strong, maybe see you next year ?
  12. Fantastic, cant wait. Will chat after 94.7
  13. Thank Wendell, always a battle to get to Rietvlei before 18h00 pm ! Better to get going in the morning.
  14. Thx Trubie covered it.
  15. I asked Graham and he mentioned that they open at 6h30 ~ 7h00am, I sent out the following post but no reply’s. Early morning mtb riding in the south
  16. Don’t need a invite, just rock up and ride. I was there on Sunday for the first time, greeted by a really friendly lady at reception that took me through the routes and was on the trial in no time. I live about 1km away and I was astounded by the beauty and views this place displays. I got in at 7h00am and on my way out I passed about 10 bikes on their way in. Really cool place to ride - thanks Wendell.
  17. Anybody cycling in the mornings (mon to thurs) in the south of jhb from about 5h00 to 6h30 on mtb's ? Rietvlei and Thaba only open at 6h30~7h00 . I know the roadies leave at 5h15 but anybody do any mtbing that time of the morning in our area ?
  18. I have this saddle off my old Colnago Mega Master up for grabs.
  19. Try their walk in centre in Honeydew, top notch and will replace while you wait if they have stock, if not they deliver. Garmin Training centre runs offline.
  20. Hi Guys, I have a set of old Campag cranks from a old Colnago Mega Master needing a good home for a fair price. Old Campag Cranks
  21. I rode a S1 for two years before getting my R3. I would rate the S1 as one of the best Aluminium bikes made (but I am being biased !) Mighty Spoke rides a S1 with a set of Zipps and he is a speed machine.. I have seen all too many broken carbon rims at races to be tempted to go for a set - and I am not in that class of the peloton. Enjoy your Aluminium Cervelo while you have it , I have spoken to a few people that miss their bikes’ after "upgrading" to carbon frames..
  22. I dont think you will enjoy the Trek after a S1. Go for the EA90 SL wheels, one good pothole and you can kiss your carbon puppies goodbye.
  23. I tried to purchase a rear rim from the easton agents in ct and they were not interested. I eventualy had to send my rim to them for a re build. Good luck in getting a set, even JB has had bad service from them.
  24. Some of the eye candy on show on Saturday.
  25. Nice neighborhood !
