  2. Was wondering where I got my energy from after Bergplaas. The soup was lekker man lekker. Jaffels at CP7 was the best ever.
  3. Crusing at around 30km/h aint fun should you get knocked off the bike. Jy gaan FKN eina kry. Glad you were ok to complete the race.
  4. Santa Cruz tallboy. Rear tyre Maxis Ikon 1.8 bar Front tyre Maxis Ardent 1.8 bar. Weight 92kg. Hands were SAT at Bergplaas , the descent did not help either. I pity the guys on hardtails this weekend. Have fun and be safe, it supposed to be fun. Waterpoints were tops as usual, good sportsmanship amongst the riders(in the middle where we rode) . Dry clothes for Bergplaas and not at CP3, you will be sorry that you changed at CP3. Lekker 80m water crossing as you leave. GO AND HAVE FUN, DONT TAKE RISKS ON THE DESCENTS. BE WATCHFULL OF THE BLIKSEMS JUST BEFORE THE PAKSTOOR CP5. THEY PELT LARGE ORANGES AT YOU IN THE DARK. LUCKILY FOR US THEY THREW K,K.

  7. You cant compare the 2 events. Atta has a time limit of 11 hours, lots of climb in 121km`s. Extreme heat conditions. Baviaans gives you 24 hours and lots of water crossings. The nights could be COLD. Its a different experience all toghether. M2c worth. Both events are awesome.
  8. I`ve done both. Atta is toughrer. Just dont race the first half. Dry clothes @ Bergplaas and you are on your way.
  9. Strava will always be out, especially if you are close to the edge of the mountain. It scrambles the signal. Ride the Argus and you will see that it is horribly wrong as well. Almost twice the amount of climb.

  15. Milky, you are way faster than that, the first 120km is lekker fast. You will easily make it. We get to the foot of mac as the sun goes down. You will proberly be over Mac. The TB is far better than the Tkaroo. Better surroundings, more riders, excellent vibe and the CPoints have awesome food.

  18. I just get a blue screen when I want to use my voucher. Happens all the time, now I dont even bother. Got a Samsung S5 mini.
  19. USE BIGFOOT. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AND NOT EXPENSIVE. I USE THEM OFTEN FROM CAPE TOWN TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY.
