Morning, just a thought. Please don't shoot me. I see that PPA is leading the memorial ride for Delene Boonzaaier on the18th. Can`t they do the same for Greg`s memorial ride on the 4/3/2017?

Hi, yes we have arranged for a priest to say a prayer as well. I`m hoping that the riders who where with Greg or his wife or family members will unveil the Ghost bike. Hoping for a massive turnout..................

Ryan, we are asking you to please mention that there will be a memorial ride for Greg Basson that was killed on the Bottelary road whilst cycling 2 weeks ago. Memorial ride taking place on the 4/3/2017. We will be planting a GHOST BIKE as well. Meeting at the Soneike at 7for 7:30. We have marshalls and back up vehicles. We are asking all cyclists to join us so that we can get the message accross to fellow road users. It will be a memorial ride and not a race, well marshalled. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. 7 for 7:30 is a good time. leave at 7:30 gather at Memorial site around 8:15. Its only 15km but at a very easy pace. The idea is to create awareness and not to race down Botties to chase any kom`s.

Did the second race. Twisted my right knee leaving Bergplaas. . Not fun doing NEVER ENDER and the last 27km. Did back up the first race and my mates had an awesome tail wind and half the DARN MUD the last 27km. We had a haed wind and more mud. I can STATE that there was a 1000% more better vibe with the 1st race compaired to the 2nd one. A great time was had by the 3 DAISIES TEAMS, we all finished without any bike mechanicals. Felt sory for the Lady from CHOC @CP2 that broke her Giant carbon XTC. It cracked in its chops. She was devastated. Her riding partner had to continue on his own. . Seems that she now has an issue with Giant regarding the replacement.... Well done the ECOBOND for an awesome event, hope those that were injured recover soon. Gonna do it next year again.

There was enough food to buy at CP5. Did back up last week. Gonna ride it this week and eat at the riders table., Awesome spread. :devil:

Should fit into your back pocket easily. Glocks are quite compact. Remember to always carry id licence with you. When riding in groups try and ride at the back. it is easier to react to trouble ahead. Gone are the days of enjoying the view. Now we ride to spot the BASTARDS. Safe cycling. A little tip, practise shooting with both hands incase you hurt your trigger finger.

The organisers are trying to identify the culprit/suspect. If people have footage of the event please see if you have clips of people walking on the route. The guy was dressed in Grey. They already have one pic of a possible suspect. Lets just hope its the BASTARD..

Hell yeah, if you ride once a week @R50 per temporary permit that makes 5 rides. The half year devided by R250= R41.666666. No brainer. :clap:
