If that were the case...we'd still have top guys on 26ers...

I know its 99% rider...thats a fact! But Look at Rabon making it happen on an MTB, total different set of machinery, but he translates his proffessionalism very well to that MTB.! I do however think that we've definitely moved on from the 26" for for these types of long distance races.

So what are the opinions regarding the performance of the 29ers vs the 27.5's at the EPIC. Many have said that the difference is minimal between the 26" and 27.5"...but the 27.5"'s are right up there. Any care to give some "half" educated opinions?

Mark's helped me with an emergency service before race day as well! He's a done bunch of other small favours as well. :-)

Hahaha....theres a lookout spot at the top of the first big climb on the green route, couple of benches there...was only there for the view....lolol

My Humblest apologies to the gentleman whose bag I found on the green route(via Hazendal) on Bottelary Hills on Sunday. Myself and my wife were walking up there and found the bag tucked away in the bushes. Wasn't sure if it was stolen, so I rather took it down with me in the hope of finding the rightful owner. I by chance randomly asked a gentleman on an MTB who looked like he just came off the trail whether he was up on Bottelary hills, and he in turn asked me if i found his bag...haha. Happy to have returned his bag to him...unhappy that i spoiled his picnic he wanted to have up there. So again...apologies Mr. Picnic man.

Hi sorry for the late reply. I used my MTB on it, obviously the knobbly tyres arent exactly quiet, but it works. Mine i sold last week.
