  1. I have 2 Peugoet Mirages from 1982. Solid build and decent components that have held up nicely. Feel free to PM me. Both bikes are ready to ride.
  2. Read somewhere a while back that he often goes into a Pizza place and has 2 large pizzas and if I remember correctly 2 large milkshakes to go with that. His training is super high intensity, so he's burning calories more than any of us on this here thread...
  3. hehe...these pics are amazing...but pics dont do this bike justice!
  4. Yeah I know...just ragging a bit. It is really the most awesome thing I've seen!!! I like the accents and waves under the clear coat!! But I cant drool over an unassembled bike...its unethical man!

  11. I run a Manitou Tower Pro with 20mm Thru Axle on my 29er HT. No problems at all...solid fork. Manuals and parts all available.
  12. I'm in CPT, bought a new bike from JHB last year. I think I used CourierIt. The shop sent it in its box so there were no issues with scratches or anything like that. I think its was around 400 bucks or something like that.
  13. Hi, Where is this?
  14. Yup, but already had to do the front as i couldnt find a 36 hole 20mm thru axle, so i bought 32hole hub amd wheel, and used the spokes from the 36 hole wheel. So now i want to do the same for the back wheel, but also do double butted spokes on both wheels
  15. Need some advice. I have a 29er hardtail that im always trying look at ways to make it light but bombproof....so im not a weight weenie at all. Busy changing over from 36 spoke heavy wheel to 32 spoke. Front wheel is done, with 20mm thru axle. Now for the back wheel. The rim\hoop(without spokes) is 530 gr. Its more of an AM wheel...which suits me fine. The problem is ive got cheap heavy spokes. So i want to upgrade the rear hub obvioulsy to a 32 spoke hub and double butted spokes front and back. Will this type of "upgrade" give me a strong rim, and will the weight saving be noticeable or negligible? So in a long winded nutshell, Going 36 spoke to 32 spoke, with double butted spokes....weightsaving?....strength?
