I think it was a combo of scoreboard pressure, precise planning and really good execution from Vern. I concede it may be possible that there might have been a foot on the plane with some of the dismissals but that doesn't take away from Vern's bowling. It really was exceptional imho. I consider myself most fortunate to have seen that spell. It really was remarkably brilliant bowling from Vern. Pretty much every delivery was in the "channel" and somewhere between a good to full length probing away at the batsmen's defenses and mindset. Aussies were at sixes and sevens. I guess it just shows the differences between the races and how teams plan for it. That said perhaps Bora should have done a bit more thinking ito their resources and how to use them. A break that features either of Oss or Burghart is most likely not to be given much rope. And there in lies Bora's problem. And I haven't seen that Bodnar's been racing either.
