Yebo yes. We definitely don't want Rabada doing a Schultz. At the moment though it does seem that Rabada is being managed well and that he too is doing his part in keeping himself fit. But since you mentioned him, I was trying to recall if we ever lost a match in which he and AD played for SA. All of recollections is that we won when they played together. I don't think that it's all over and done yet W! There's a lot that still needs to happen and I think that there will be a bit of a bloodletting to occur in the Aussie set up. Lehmann will lose his job after this series. The Aussies are not blind to how he has a hand in everything that happens in the team. I think too that both Smith and Warner will be given hefty fines and match suspensions by their board. And I think that the other players involved will probably get a cut in salary. Dave Richardson has also acknowledged that the ICC needs to take a clearer stance on what is allowed on the field of play and how players are to conduct themselves. That is scathing and that's the nicest way I can put it. The Aussies are very very upset about this. And they should be. Their cricket teams have been the premier sports team in Aus and as such have a responsibility to represent the best attributes of the average Aussie has and holds dear. In much the same way the AB'S have to do in New Zealand. There's always that extra pressure to do well not just for sporting pride but also national pride. I think telephonic discussions were held which lead to Smith and Warner to stand down. Additionally Trevor Honnes, chair of the Selection Committee, is here with the team as well. So a CA person is here already and I am sure that he would've been given authority to remove Smith and Warner. In fact as chief selector he may have that authority already. Language excused. Agree harsh penalties is needed but bans? Not entirely sure that's the answer either. I'd be happy if there were stricter rules and a better policing of it and yes the ICC should definitely need to take a good look at themselves regarding how disciplinary issues are handled especially since it does appear that certain sides (Aus, England & India) seem to get off being punished for poor behaviour.
