True but hopefully harsher penalties will make some think twice. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

That apology is simply not good enough as far as I am concerned. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Fines aplenty methinks. It is sad to see this kind of behaviour. One would really hope that the honour of representing one's country would mean players give their all to win but within the bounds of the laws of the sport. And I think Kranswurm has the right idea perhaps players that get caught doing this should get an immediate suspension and not be able to continue playing in the match. Something to think about. And you can't call it a brain fart because it is very clear to see that that was absolutely deliberately done. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Which just underlines the need for harsher penalties otherwise teams and players will just keep on cheating like this. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Let's hope the Aussies get moered with a mother of a fine. This behaviour is simply not on and should get punished harshly. Imho the entire bowling unit, the fielder caught doing the scratching and the captain of the team should all get fines and demerit points with the captain copping a suspension. On field punishment should be 15 runs rather than 5 and that the next dismissal is overturned in favour of the batting team. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Bwaaahaaaahhaaaaaaa!!!!!! That's so funny. He can complain about the crowds as much as he likes but he'll be more than happy if the crowds in Aus do the same. At least here it's just verbal. I remember Pat Symcox telling a story of being thrown with a whole roast chicken! That said there are the odd fan or set of fans that get out of hand and that does need to get dealt with and as far as I know has been dealt with. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Good catch that. How important might that fifty turn out to be. Edit: It is Lyon's highest score but it wasn't a fifty but a fighting 47. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Yeah the late afternoons haven't been good to us in this test so far. In general we are playing better than the Aussies and it was a fighting partnership between Paine and Lyon that's cut the lead dramatically. Hopefully we will wrap it up early tomorrow morning and then set about setting a big target to get. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

This is not going to well. Ever since AB lost his wicket it has been a bit of a revolving door. And what's worse most of them have been to poor strokes from our batsmen rather than particularly good bowling from the Aussies. Here's to hoping that Rabada can make it to stumps and then hang around tomorrow. The closer we can get to 300 the better. We will have to bowl well tomorrow regardless of our final first innings score. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Hash and Elgar going well at the moment. Hash in particular looking solid. Another session from the both of them could give AB, FdP and Temba a licence to cut loose and play more aggressively but let's wait and see how things pan out. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Andrew McGlashan's article makes for good reading if you're supporting the Black Caps. McGlashan: Swing special prolongs England's dire summer down under http://es.pn/2FWuBw4via ESPNCricinfo app That said Boult and Southee bowled spells worth celebrating. Two of the finest swing bowlers in the international game. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

Sambit Bal makes an excellent argument imho regarding the need for consensus and Shebeen he points to the unpunished nastiness between Smith and Kohli as an example as well. Especially after they said all those nice things about him thinking him out of the series. Looks like we will be having near enough our strongest bowling unit available and with both Rabada and Vern having points to prove it is going to be a torrid match for the Aussie batsmen. 18. Ja I know my post was a bit fence sitty, wasn't it. However I am firmly in the 'this is a run of rotten luck' camp. You don't win as much as Cav does without being a really really tough SOB on the bike. Cav has been amazing at DD and I think it stretches beyond just winning races. G speaks highly of his cycling intelligence and his love of sharing this knowledge. I would love to see him win a few more races and set the new stage win mark at the TdF! He just needs to get past this nasty rotten run of luck. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  19. Her and Anne Tauber had the most impressive rides in the ladies race. We expect good performances from Langvad and PFP so it was nice to see other ladies giving it a good rip! Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  20. Both are absolutely gorgeous! Look like lovely personalities to boot. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  21. Making a call on retirement is probably the hardest decision any pro sportsman or woman can make. And it can be easy to see this as a run of rotten luck especially if everything has been going well in training. Body can only take so much punishment and Cav has been luckier than most with crash related injuries. Only Cav will know if this is because he isn't up to racing or if it really is just a case of really rotten luck. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  22. Which is why it was an horrendous crash to witness live, hey B. The way he was lying on the ground afterwards had me worried. According to hubber Gen in the Classics thread only another broken rib and a few minor injuries iirc. Cav is having a run of rotten luck this year. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  23. Just because I don't like him doesn't mean that I am going to not enjoy his skill as a racer. He read the race well and deserved to win. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  24. Don't much like him but damn the man can ride! Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  25. Me too. Horrible horrible crash that. Hope the other riders that crashed are okay too. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
