  1. Haven't been there for so long ... think I rode it not long after they opened and wasn’t overly impressed. Have I got the right place even , pta right ? Off ramp just after you come of the R21 ?
  2. He’s 8 1/2..he’s probably slightly shorter than avg. Think he said he is the 2nd shortest boy in his class .
  3. Cool, let me know. Best you have your climbing legs for that day ????...can sometimes feel like little reward for all the stiff rock climbing you do. But there is some good stuff especially Barry’s point, a dropper would be preferable, well at least it is at my skill level.
  4. As NSBB said the green is very well maintained . Wendell has added some nice little additions to the green. Rode there today again and some more blue bits..most of it pretty ok . Last bit from Barry’s point is a tad overgrown but all the bits I did are completely rideable . Some nice new jumps and rock rollers ???????? Always keen to ride there ,drop me a pm if you keen .
  5. A bit of Thaba fun (not the climbing)...met 2 young lads, twins. ( and think it was there step Dad ) it was cool to join them and watch the youngsters .
  6. Thats the next bike for my son. He is close to the end of his 20 inch but am worried the 24 is a big jump for him...still he doesn’t have much longer left . The 20’ momsen is a brilliant bike. Nice and light he climbs like a champ . Today we rode to Rietvlei and back. He gets so excited when we go ride it’s all we hear about for the next 24hrs, especially when he conquers something new. Today was the climb up next to the school in one go . But he was humbled today by trying to take the ramp at Rietvlei behind just cycles and went otb. Was a good lesson for him not to get to big headed, he was embarrassed. He fell a few other times as well just as a reminder ...still grinning like a Cheshire cat though . So stoked he shares my love for cycling .
  7. In my humble opinion this is close to gravel bike perfection . Next week it will have flared bars. Last upgrade to make it perfect is carbon wheels.
  8. As you wish with hydraulic ultegra upgrade.....gravel tyres & some road 32’s...some groading with mates bloody good times .
  9. Hydro brakes are awesome, so little effort and brilliant modulation . 1x is brilliant 1:1 ratio seems best combo for most rides 42 & 11/42 cassette.
