  9. Ok,so here goes. As i unashamedly admit to my bike addiction and the constant moving on to newer shiner trinkets, here are my 3 bikes I currently own. Both the Niner and the Synapse I have had for almost a year now . Which is not bad for the bike tart I am. But I did hand pick each bike & part so that I wouldn’t want to upgrade or just move on . BIKE 1 - Niner Rlt Steel (2017) bought for hubber Frame -Reynolds 853 Steel Fork - Niner carbon fiber Drive train- Sram 1x 11 - 42 chainring on force crank and 10/42 xx1 casstte,Rival derailleur,Carbon Red Shifters 2x 11 ( front derailleur obviously not connected) Brakes- Sram red ( soooooo awesome - prefer over ultegra all day ) Seatpost- Carbon BMC Saddle - Spaz power 155 ( these saddles rock ) Wheels - fulcrum red zone & Specialised trigger 38c * 2nd wheelset same but with spaz Sawtooth 42c Stem- Cannondale C2 100mm Handlebar - ITM X1 44cm Black ( So dig these bars ) BIKE 2 - Cannondale Synapse (2018) Bought brand new old stock, swapped out every part . 10. Damn Muc-off products rock..great scent and planet friendly, awesome work ???????????? Definitely gonna post some pics .
  11. That’s a kick ass bike that rides like no other ..... great build
  12. With Patch & Peds.... the test ride on Fiona just over 18 months ago that hooked me completely on gravel bikes . How can you not buy a bike when coffee & cake is part of the deal . Awesome days ride ....
  13. Have learnt to stand for about 30 seconds to relieve the butt ache.... I just put in it a hard gear, clench my gut and concentrate on my pedal stroke for about 30 seconds ???? without death strangling the bars . Not sure about the crunches and sit ups though.....kudos ????
  14. Absolutely agree 1000%...... but that’s the best part of the rollers,I think time doesn’t quite drag as slowly . Coz gawd knows cycling and going nowhere is a bit tedious to say the least . I may even buy my own set after lockdown ????
  15. Thats some good core balance there mate... only on my 4th ride or so but certainly wouldn’t dare do no hands, would have no teeth . Today managed to stand for about 15 seconds to relieve my Crown Jewels....But was a tad wobbly to say the least . Could feel my core got a workout today as well. Would guess mnt bike tyres would make a proper racket.....the gravel tyres were loud enough that my missus could hear me downstairs. Rollers definitely make you concentrate more .
  16. I would say easier as far as balancing goes . I tried my gravel bike with 42mm Sawtooth tyres, definitely easier than my road tyres. Does feel like it requires more effort due to the contact patch, I think . But, gravel tyres are to noisy .
  17. Never heard that saying before. It does go down better than ever when you knackered ????????
  18. It must be slightly matchy matchy ......that’s a Telkom pole ????
  19. Damn,me ???? dat Niner .... and this one⬇️
  20. Haven’t tried the wider bars ( don’t personally like the look of them ) so cant say. But have the same itm bars as on my road bike. I like the hand cut out on the bars. Never considered going wider really.
  21. Some only need bmx gearing,so i’ve been told . Not sure it’s a true story though.
  22. Ma se hare ????????????????????..... haven’t heard that in ages .Thanks dude, stoked on that steel steed ????????
