Have ridden 12 speed xt and xo...personally I prefer the sram,always have but that’s just imo. The micro spline is quite a piece of work .

Nx doesn’t use xd driver but the old Shimano hub .

He wants 12 speed. Shimano & Sram both have 10 as there smallest cog now. Edit: 10/51 Shimano as you said .

Don’t you have to use bottles first ????

A mate of mine has a set of sram roam 60’s with sram roam hubs ( not sure what internals) holy sh,te is it loud....it’s louder than my i9. Sounds like a massive deep sea fishing reel,love it .

Its a Niner,witchcraft is very likely .Niner do build there bikes to mountain bike standards , whatever that may be . So they are solidly built and plenty robust . The steel soaks up a lot of the chatter so doesn’t really need suspension in my opinion. As long as you don’t mind the weight ,which I don’t . That’s my best guess anyway ????

Have done a few upgrades recently one of which is the Curve flared bar,love it ????????....Just fitted some 27.5 HED ???????? Wheels with 47c tyres and as an added bonus shed over 1/2 kg of rotational weight . Feels really spritely on my little tester up the road. Can’t wait to test them properly ✊???? #keepgroading Thanks to hubber urbanninja for the wheels ????????

Couldn't agree more,fed up with getting battered solo. But that’s the problem with living in Mordor ????Still less wind and climbs than the Pennines mate . Damn those were some solo tough rides,but oh so peaceful. The suffering was always worth it a 100 fold .

There is only one Thaba right. If you can climb there in the blue you should be ok most places . Great place to get strong and up your tech skills.

Awesome to be back on the gravel bike after a 9 week break because of a shoulder & neck thing. It’s amazing how quickly a gravel bike finds your weak spots . Throughly enjoyed this morning ????????
