Trail /AM bike are never gonna climb like a XC bike but you will still get to the top,but you will have a damn blast down the hills where as your XC bike won't give you that.

My apologies Johny,I am talking about Spez as a brand,so many around and I do like them,but it's kind of like years ago when Kona and Trek flooded our market and almost every guy rode one. I just like to ride a brand that not many are on,that's just me,the only 1 criticism I have for Spez is their price otherwise you can fault the product. The magnitude of the the brand speaks for itself.

My opinion Spez make damn fine bikes and damn expensive too but why ride what so many guys are riding,rather be different.

Do agree with getting a decent wheel builder,makes a big difference. I took some advice from a couple of guys here 2 months or so Hairy being one and had a decent set of wheels built by a decent wheel builder. Best thing I did,I have ZTR Flow Ex rims and damn they are bomb proof.Just because 1 or 2 guys have issues with them doesn't mean they are bad.

Those chops who think they are the only D$#S on the trail and because you going up it's easier for you to move then me going like a mad man down the hill. We have the same issues with some Race snakes here at Giba,they need to go and look at the rules of the trail. Lessons start at 4 for any of those tappets who need it.LOL
