  1. Number of parcels on the shipping Manifest: 1
  2. The Saga continues... I went to the post office today to collect my items. CRC, in their infinite wisdom, has sent my items in two separate boxes. Attached to each of the boxes was a FULL invoice for ALL my items. I was therefore, not only charged R1400 of duties for duty free items, but I was charged R2800 X 2 = 5600 for R7000 worth of items. I have sent the stuff back for "re-assessment" to customs. In the meantime I have requested that CRC, due to their error, re-ships me my goods via DHL and recalls the original shipment. I don't hold out much hope, but lets see how it goes.
  3. Hello All, I have recently imported a bunch of stuff from CRC. The items came through SAPO and they are charging me +-2800 on a +-R7200 invoice. Items are as follows: 1. XT 1x11 Component set 2. Floor Pump 3. Bearing puller and press set with adaptors 4.Cleaning brushes 5. Chain cleaner 6. Torque Wrench 7. Cable set From my research, it seems all these items should be Duty free and I will only have to pay VAT which should only come to around R1200. I would appreciate any advice?
  4. Awesome stuff, thank you for the support, you won't be disappointed, we can't wait to get into production and sort you guys out with some top notch kit. Hopefully we can convert you to the Ride Shirt as well.
  5. PM'd you Peach with regard to possibly setting up another "intervanced" class in KZN in septemeber. Please let me know if this would be possible as I'm sure I could rustle up some interest.
  6. Thanks Guys, I have been in lengthy conversation with Hilton at Pyga and he doesn't know so will just have to pop out to a paint shop and see if they can mix it for me there and then. As I say, the touch up kits are not available for my model at this stage.
  7. Hey Guys, mine and my brothers bikes have been slightly banged up due to a few crashes and general wear. Would any body know the paint spec for the 2013 colors of the 110 (green) and the 120 (Orange). I have got hold of the guys at Pyga but they don't seem to know the spec and did say they would get in some touch up kits but there was a mix up and this hasn't happened. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  8. Email them, they will help you out, otherwise contact Bibi on the hub, best service I have received and he is a Pyga dealer in the western cape.
  9. any idea where Hylton gets those trail tools in SA? can seem to find anything like that?
  10. So.... Iv had mine now for a while but have just done some major upgrades and I am absolutely loving the new feel so thought id post some pics. Just upgraded the fork to the MRP STAGE ENDURO (find my short review here: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/146633-mrp-stage-fork/, Bibi is sole importer and distributor, get hold of him if you are interested) and brakes to GUIDE R. I am also going to be changing the crankset to a 1x in the next couple of days... More pics to come.

  12. I have the oneten, iv done one stage race on it and it was an absolute dream. Otherwise I spend my time riding the trails around KZN and Western Cape and it is in its element, got and MRP stage 140 fork up front and guide breaks, otherwise pretty average components and it goes like an absolute dream. Good luck with the decision.
  13. Ill be keen to place an order, would love myself a pyga shirt.

  19. thanks for the advice on the grease, anybody know of a good online store to get suspension oils? If one exists? Thanks
  20. Any suggestions for good suspension grease that I can buy in or around the Stellenbosch area?
  21. My brother and I are building a gravity trail in the hilton forests near Grace College. We are used to riding in the Jonkershoek trails in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape, and decided to add a gravity trail to the already extensive Hilton network of trails. The trail will be accessible to the public and ridable for all levels with different lines and difficulties for every rider. The trail has been started but we need some material going forward to add better features. Anyone who has any timber and/or building materials they're willing to add, it will help hugely! Any wood off-cuts, poles or pallets would be perfect. Because of the soil type some lime could come in handy to harden up the berms etc. too. We would also appreciate any comments and suggestions for interesting features to the trail, we would like to make it as much fun as possible. PS: Until the OPEN sign is up, please don't ride it, we don't want the berms or features to be ruined before they're hard enough. The first section has been cleared to the first road so walkers/runners are welcome!
  22. oh really okay cool, thanks for the advice! So there is no way around the size/weight problem?
  23. Out of interest, if I manage to buy a bike frame off e-bay for example, what would be the kind of taxes and duties to expect?
  24. Velo Life have fitted a Rambler Hub for me, reasonably priced and sounds very good. Yet to take it out for a ride. Anybody heard of Rambler? cant find anything on it online?
