Work to Residence Visa - Talent is what it said on my VISA if that helps. I did the EOI in SA and had to get a job offer to get us over 160 points. My residency was provisionally approved 3 weeks after me arriving in NZ. I had to provide 3 payslips, which I did and we got our new Visa's in passports.

That is some really amazing tech you are trying to design and implement! Great on you! Why don't you just do your residency now? It costs more, but I have been sleeping so much better since we got ours.

Hayley, my mother and father in law is here currently (came over with wife and kids). We could also not get the parent one yet obviously, but the visa's they got are valid for 3 years, with 3 months visit allowed at a time.

So after heeding the advice given here, I decided to go for a ride yesterday during the rain (with unapproving stares from my wife). So glad I did, and I even got to witness this scene.

Maybe we can give each other pep talks every now and then, similar boat: Started work here on 1 May, doing 11 hours a day to make my mark, and trying to work on my MsC (really have to get it done this year). Game on

I'm at the edge of Army Bay, right next to Shakespeare Park. Will definitely go look for those tracks.
