  1. My only complaints are that I have not really been on my bike, nor have I been on the water.???? Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  2. Might be time to update your list again Wayne?
  3. So somehow I ended up in a company with no cyclists.....any recommendations for riding in North shore area? Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  4. So I finally made to NZ yesterday![emoji4] [emoji4] [emoji4] . Sorry about the weather i brought with guys. My bike will arrive tomorrow with U bag (thanx Wayne for the suggestion). Cant wait to go riding! For the next 8 weeks it will be work and ride to keep my sanity before my wife and kids arrive[emoji22] . Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  5. This weekend is my last on South African soil. Flying out on 27 th and landing the Saturday...work starts the Monday already. Looking forward to meeting you guys! Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanx Haley.Container to follow (and wife and kids), but bike NEEDS to come with[emoji4] . I read on other sites not a good idea to load the bike bix until you get to 30 kg, they then tend to abuse the package....they dont like to lift heavy objects. Might then go with Wayne's suggestion of ubag. Hope to be riding with you guys soon. Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  7. Will do thanx. Plan on full service and clean before I bring it over. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?
  8. Hayley - Flying with Emirates. Will be based in Auckland North (Rodney district) as my work is in Northcote and at this stage looking to live in Gulf Harbour area.
  9. Hi Guys. Just as I thought this is never going to happen, my offer came in Wednesday night and I resigned yesterday from my SA job. I managed to move my start date out, so I will start on 1 May. Hope to meet most of you on here and getting some riding in. What is the best option to get my bike there ASAP?
  10. I have not been paid my Vitality drive rewards for December either, and up till now, they have paid every month for the last year on time (between 11 and 15th of month). So maybe they have genuine issues this time around.
  11. From what I heard, you have to use an agency (registered emigration officer). So far I can definitely recommend Intergate (https://www.intergate-immigration.com/). Their fees are good, service excellent and they don't ask you to hand over all the money at once, you pay as your application progresses.
  12. Strap buckle the other way around? Like their buttons I know is opposite to what we have in men's
  13. Thanx to Wayne and all of the hubbers in NZ that posted on this thread, very informative! I am in the process of job finding (using a recruiter in Auckland) and if all goes well, I might be lucky enough to join you guys on a ride. Main concerns are as everyone else with regards to salary and living costs, my previous COO moved to Auckland in December and provides me with feedback (although money is of no concern to him!) so I might just have a couple of questions for you guys down the line. Wayne, would it be OK if I PM you in the next couple of weeks/months if I have questions? All the best for the new year, hope you guys are happier with each passing day.
  14. The chainline might cause excesive wear on the components, the reason why I changed from the 0mm offset to 6mm. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. Fwiw...I used a 6mm offset chainring to get mine more straight (direct mount). My friend just did his upgrade on Monday and his chainline looks a lot lime yours. The mechanic (a pro team mechanic) said it can be made better with spacers but it is not worth the bother. With mine I can back pedal and it stays on the same cog, with his it jumps down. So maybe ride it and decide. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. Was my first Ultra as well. Hated it! But 3 minutes after the finish, I realized I cant wait to do it again!
  17. Received these yesterday. Cant wait to test them! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  18. Also looking for one. Was told they are sold out worldwide Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. Ok. So I am compulsive and have very little patience....ordered the hope's from crc[emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  20. Can they be serviced though?
  21. Myles, how do I know which adapter to spec? Will use on my 2014 Camber and have Pike upfront.
  22. Had a look at that thread, but mine has no issues with return, just nothing happens until it is almost touching the bar, and then it brakes. Or am I missing something and your fix can work?
  23. They only have the ultimate in stock, and that is a bit rich for me, especially since it seems that the difference between the ultimate and RSC is so small.
  24. Only the back brake. No matter how many times or which bike shop bleeds them, they stay spongy and you have to pull it against the bar before it actually stops.
