  1. I did this one last year. The full 163km on day 1 and 57km back on day 2. Absolutely amazing. Definitely the best/ easiest one to take kids on.
  2. Seems the same everywhere. My friend just bought a 2019 Trek Fuel EX 7, for R22500 if that helps.
  3. Auckland winters morning
  4. Really cold but so worth the view
  5. So do we ($50), on the Whangaparaoa peninsula. Know of two other families paying the same.
  6. Similiar, but using: https://pricespy.co.nz Very handy on anything almost that one buys in NZ.
  7. Thanx for sharing Patches, that one is also on my short list (now) :-) I am also a sucker for Android, which is why I am leaning towards the TCL 6 Series 65", which has Android with the great Roku system on. Basically the following reviews are why I am considering for the first time ever to go with something other than Samsung. https://www.theverge.com/2018/6/4/17417402/tcl-6-series-tv-review-4k-hdr-dolby-vision-price-specs https://www.cnet.com/reviews/tcl-55r615-2018-roku-tv-review/ https://www.techradar.com/au/reviews/tcl-6-series-r615-r617 But, this is always a personal choice, so not trying to convince you of anything here FYI. Like buying a bike .......buy what you like, use it and be happy
  8. Hi Patches I am in the same boat - also waiting for the price to come back down: I am looking at both 55 and 65 inch versions of the TCL models (6 Series). Out of interest, what are you looking at if you don't mind sharing?
  9. Especially since it only takes three days! (another Good!)
  10. Looks good! You know how easy it is to spend money on bike stuff, well it is even easier to spend on your kids. And the excuse is so easy, sorry honey, but I spend our money on the kids, it's not for me.[emoji16]
  11. Would you mind sending it to me as well please Wayne?
  12. This downhill "into" the sea always gets me
  13. My morning quick get away when there is no time for a proper ride.
  14. Looks great Dawie. Showed my six-year-old daughter and she loves it! Who did you use to do the paint job?
  15. 55min - 60min.I have a walk and a wait and on to Northcote via a second bus. If you go into the city, you just stay on the same bus. Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  16. Not much to add. I commute from Gulf Harbour daily and I love it. Yes, it takes a long time, but not having to think about traffic is awesome and it allows me to do my admin/emails or just look at bike hub . Silverdale/ Red Beach/Orewa is more convenient as said above, so you really have so many options.
  17. Amazing. I wonder how do able this will be in a mtb? Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  18. I did the Pearson Academic one. Was really easy, and that coming from a boertjie. Spelling without autocorrect and spell check.....that is another story.[emoji6] Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  19. Congrats! I was exactly in your shoes dates wise. Flew out of SA on 28th of April and started on 1 May 2017. Hectic but worth it. Another vote for ubag by the way. Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  20. Yesterday and a few days before. Been meaning to post some photos of my new cycling home. Awesome place. Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L22 using Tapatalk
  21. That sounds like BIG news!
  22. All the best Wayne - remember us "workers" when you hit the big time! I'm sure most of us won't mind coming to work for you then!
  23. Another thing to remember regarding the extra fees to do residency application now is that once it comes through, you qualify for kiwisaver, and your employer contribution to it, which in most cases is way more than what you will spend on fees.
  24. Exactly, mine is the same Accredited employer one where I can do it after 2 years, don't know why the naming is misleading, BUT as said above, I feel more at ease knowing it is done. Also, does help with the kids etc.
