  1. My 2cents worth - I am going to be one sided here and say Type 1. When it comes to tactics and racing than Type 2 don't hang in there, but if they keep coming back and racing with the ladies group than they will improve. Practice makes perfect. We need more ladies on the start line at the races and more teams out there to let ladies know that they can achieve results. Times are not the best way to prove a point in most races, yes, ladies that race with the men will usually have a faster time. Fair enough.
  2. Hey Wannabe, speak to Lourence there in Rustenburg, he got his fixed about 2 weeks ago, he can give you a number.
  3. Wonder Women, I think all the ladies in the bunch feel Ronel was hard done by, including me, I feel her name should of been the first on the list having the 2 SA titels behind her. We cant go loosing our top ladies, but complaining on the web is not going to change a single thing, a letter or something will need to be send or delivered to csa ( not sure how) I was in the same boat last year when I won the TT title and was told not allowed to go to the TT worlds. Spinnekop, sponsors are welcome to read this and decide, this is how many sponsor pull out of racing mens and ladies. And Crux, I dont think we should sit back and let this happen year after year, because that is whats going to happen unfortunaltely, we need to look after Cherise and get her overseas before this kills her excitement for racing aswell. Delgado - what y ou put in your hands is up to you
  4. This is getting a bit out of hand now, firstly all the ladies that were chosen or that even made the list all deserve to go. The racing on Saturday was hard and tactical, thats why the groups split many times. None of the hubbers that are complaining were even in the bunch ( and probably are only men complaining) Its funny how easy it is to sit behind a computer and moan about a topic that actually has nothing to do with you. There will always be cyclist that should of, would of, and could of gone, but at the end of the day a decision was made. Does the oaning never end of this web page? I take that as a NO. Lets show our support to all the girls that are going and in general lets show our support to ladies cycling. My 2cents worth.
  5. Mine is up for sale 56 cm, there was a 5th fuji in PE that was a spare, what happened to that one?
  6. Standard Fuji Frame, that we rode last year, not rare saw a few on the road, but nice bikes, there was a spare bike lying around in PE that wasnt used, what happened with that one? Mine is a 56 and up for sale.
  7. I have never used those dvd"s, but I can recommend a few books that really motivate you and get you eager to try it on the road, Dr Carol Austin brings in about 30 different books for power etc and once you've read them you are keen to train. you can check the books at www.activeworx.co.za
  8. I've got myself a set, and they are awesome, they give me more power on my downstroke, used them for the SA TT and walked away with gold, definitely got my vote of confidence, you have 5 settings on them and can change them depending on the route ( hilly or flat) Put on the new TT version yesterday which is a 54 blade, feels and looks awsome ( solid black blade ) you can contact Ivan ( importer of the Q ring) 073 3735999 and web is www.rotorbike.com ENJOY.
  9. Thanks Michelle. I would like to say thanks to the CBIST back up car ( Charles) for taking my spare wheels with them, in case of an emergency. luckily wasn't needed.
  10. Hi Cervelo, you can contact Impressions Fitness and Health, they are the inporters for them, 011 708 2290 or Ivan 0733735999 they bring in the Power cranks and powerlungs aswell. I love them, they work great.
