Had a great ride on stage 1 & 2 and did much better up Long Tom than last year, but started to cramp really badly after that. Had to stop at around 30km to go and wait 5 minutes before cramps went away. And then again at 1.5km to go. Felt ridiculous being able to see the finish line and having to wait for cramps to go before my legs would move again. Definitely going to need to do more riding in the heat of the day before next years Jock. Can't wait though!

You should mail ASG and ask them to check. I think they stuffed up some of the seeding again like they did in the last couple of events. Probably used the MTB seeding again instead of road. They fixed mine last time for Berge & Dale.

Ha! Must have been right next to you then. Mad skills! The poor guy who fell and the other guy that went into him must be hurting. When I saw that skewer roll across the road it was like waiting for a hand grenade to go off.

Thanks, but the problem is if you use that ride to create a Strava route so it can be imported into your Garmin, the route comes to 118km. You can check that if you click on the spanner icon on the left and select "Create Route". Was hoping someone might have an actual Garmin course already created.

Anyone have a 2014 Garmin route file they'd be willing to share? I tried creating one from Strava but the distance comes to 119km so it looks like the route is not calculated correctly.

A tough day in the saddle for sure. I thought I was in the middle big AL bunch but recorded a 2:59 so maybe I was in the front one. The guy with the awesome beard from the Activize team managed to get us organized a few times but unfortunately didn't last long.

Ok, just got through to them now. They definitely have a problem. On their side it's showing that I don't have a seeding at all, so it's showing 100 as my road index. That's why I'm in FL. Even though I can see on the site my seeding is 10.33 (without Fast One). The lady I spoke to said they left a lot of empty numbers in AL so people can correct these at registration. But she also asked that we should enter seeding results from non ASG events on the ASG site.
