  2. I'm sure we can look forward to ASG saying nothing about this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. We got passed by the front of VB yes. I was in the blue Rapha kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Well that was super tough! Was part of a great group in VA that worked really well together. But man that wind made it hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Makes sense. Last year I started in 2A and we caught the ladies within a few km's. Was a mess trying to get through Simonstad etc in such a large group. And then most of them sat in until the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. & start at 6:20, nervous! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So the route will be the same as 2015 or 2016?
  8. Exactly. I have the same jersey as in the photos and it's a weirdly long cut. Initially bought the CAM Kuhn Elite jersey but had to send it back as it was even longer than this one.
  9. My first road bike, 2010 Cannondale SuperSix Latest addition (almost 1 year old), 2015 Cannondale SuperSix Evo
  10. Anyone know if / when there will be a highlights broadcast of the race on SuperSport?
  11. Was that what happened on the start line? I saw the commissaire speaking to the guy next to me but I thought it had something to do with his camera. And it looked like he still started.
  12. Thanks, I checked but it doesn't show a start group for me. Maybe they are still busy with the seeding.
  13. How did you guys get your seeding already? Did they send an sms?
  14. Had a great ride on stage 1 & 2 and did much better up Long Tom than last year, but started to cramp really badly after that. Had to stop at around 30km to go and wait 5 minutes before cramps went away. And then again at 1.5km to go. Felt ridiculous being able to see the finish line and having to wait for cramps to go before my legs would move again. Definitely going to need to do more riding in the heat of the day before next years Jock. Can't wait though!
  15. Here's my Strava from last year: https://www.strava.com/activities/348406240 https://www.strava.com/activities/348498116 https://www.strava.com/activities/348676399 Had a really slow / crampy ride last year, but hopefully, this year will be better.
  16. The Strava feature will be coming to the Edge 510 as well in a firmware update between now and September. So hold onto that 510 for now
  17. I store them with the reamer. Just push the reamer in between 2 of the plugs on the plastic sheet. Sticks pretty tight so you should be able to get them out easily.
  18. I've had mine in for almost a month now, crashed twice (one was a direct hit of the bar plug to a tree) and they're still in. I have a habit of checking them before every ride though, just twist and see if they're still tight. They always are.
  19. Just to be clear, I didn't file them, I filed the insides of the bar. The plastic does feel a bit flimsy but they held up well when I clipped a tree with the bars a week ago. Still look good as new. As for the grips, I'm using chunkies so no problem with ragged ends.
  20. Does the Epic have a carbon handlebar? Check if there isn't an aluminum insert at the end of the bar. That's issue I had with mine. Had to file the inserts down slightly to get it to fit.
  21. Got mine from Bicycle Company in Centurion and installed yesterday. Was a bit of a mission on the Cannondale bars with the aluminum inserts, so had to file those slightly. Probably saved another 2g right there https://www.dropbox.com/s/mqtvbjkn5qvlilw/2015-03-27%2006.48.42.jpg?dl=0
  22. The results are up on SpectrumSport: http://spectrumsport.co.za/Portals/17/ResultDoc/USNcup_MTB_20140802.pdf Although I almost wish they weren't
