  1. Have not mailed them but ordered on Friday and collected at the factory on Friday and told the lady that helped me about the sizes that is not correct. Was told they working on it.
  2. On Vye's size chart i'm between a Medium and a Large bib shorts. Ordered the large and went to collect from the factory on Friday. Tried it on in their "fitting room" and a large was to small. Took the XL but maybe should have got the XXL. XL is tight around the legs and shoulders, but on the bike the shoulders feel perfect. Not used to such tight bibs around the legs. Awesome value for money but they should fix their size chart.
  3. Still no feedback from Two Wheels Trading?
  4. Sad. Everything nowadays get blamed on the virus.
  5. Rear derailleur don't last. Had one for about 3 months and it cracks where the b-screw screws in.
  6. There is another lady with a GP300 with the exact same "problem" at the hanger. I think it is the play in the Apex rear derailleur that makes the the wear on the hanger on serious corrugation roads.Awesome bike and a lot of bike for the price. Tested by just fitting an GX Eagle derailleur and there was hardly any movement on the derailleur when it was screwed into the hanger. Still no word from TWT?
  7. TWT is the agents for Momsen. Been in contact with them from the beginning. At the moment i was told by TWT that "they don't know what to say" I'm sure they will find a solution.
  8. Went on my first proper two day gravel ride a few weeks ago. On day one there was a lot of corrugation on the downhills and climbs. I double checked all the bolts and nuts on the day before the ride and torqued all to specs. Day one the hanger worn out where the B-Bolt stopper of the derailleur go. The derailleur picked up and luckily did not go into the spokes. Managed to get the derailleur back in the right position and got back to the car on day two with the derailleur only picking up once. Bought two new hangers from TWT and fitted a new hanger with the exact same problem. The hanger/frame was checked with a derailleur hanger alignment tool and nothing was out of alignment. We then fitted a brand new GX Eagle derailleur to see if it is a problem with the original Apex derailleur. Problem exactly the same. My bicycle is still under warranty and TWT did not even offer to replace the broken drop out. Eventually got a phone call from TWT yesterday after i told them i'm going on the hub to inform other GP300 owners of the problem. I have got photos of another GP300 that was bought three months ago with the exact same problem on the hanger. I would recommend that if you got a Momsen GP 300 and going on a bikepacking tour to take a few hangers with. There is not enough "meat" on the hanger where the derailleur touches. Would like to hear if any other Gp 300 owners had the same problem? Do you think it is a hanger design problem or SRAM derailleurs is not 100 % compatible with the hanger? Will fit a Shimano derailleur this weekend to see if it fits better than SRAM.
  9. i had the rear aluminium swingarm welded on an old Epic 2013 . Still as good as new after a few years of use.
  10. Day one we started at Citrusdal up Nieuwoud Pass and almost (LOL) to top of Uitkyk and back to Jamaka to camp the night. Day two Jamaka via Clanwilliam dam back to Citrusdal.
  11. Clanwilliam dam. From Jamaka - Algeria to Citrusdal
  12. Very nice bike. Just make sure you allowed to put a frame bag and a top tube bag on for warranty purposes?
  13. Yes. They do look so much better.
  14. Quality wise, yes the Voile straps are superior. Have not had time to try the straps out last night, but will do a test on sinkplaat roads with full kit this weekend and give feedback.
  15. Voile Straps arrived. Not as stretchy as i thought they would be? They stretch maybe a little more than flexi-ties. Will try them tonight and compare with flexi-ties. Price wise the flexi-ties is way in the lead.
  16. Why you stopping at "Meerkat" Beach?
  17. Will do. Waiting for Voile-straps to be delivered. Must say very impressed with the flexi-straps.
  18. Thanks. Think i still got a few packed away somewhere. Might even be on my pedals
