    With all the security some b@stards still managed to steal my mates wife's MTB. She was seated in the car waiting for her 40km start time while he started the 70km. Then I see on book face that Jaco Ferreira's bakkie was also stolen.

    CAUTION: Pseudoephedrine is prohibited in-competition at a urinary concentration above the threshold of 150ng/mL (as of January 1, 2010). The threshold level has been established based on the intake of therapeutic doses of PSE, defined as a maximum daily dose of 240mg PSE taken either as: 4 daily administrations (one every 4-6 hours) of a 60mg pill (or 2x30mg pills), or 2 daily administrations (one every 12 hours) of a 120mg pill (extended release) Although rare, it is possible that the established threshold level may be reached by some individuals taking therapeutic dosages, particularly 6-20 hours after the extended release pill. Therefore WADA advises that athletes stop taking PSE pills 24 hours before the in- competition period.

    This is a cycling forum, not a SARS amnesty group, Barry has chosen to be tried by the hub rather than SAIDS. Sorry but my opinion on doping is that it's totally wrong, in all sports. Just because its not policed in body building does not make it legal.

    Its amazing that if you get caught, and then confess, it's all ok. He had the chance to come clean at the Epic. Bet he did not have sleepless nights after that test and celebrated at Lourensford.

    Hell, how much of this **** did you take that it's still in your system 5months after you stopped using it? You claim that you have contributed positively to your cycling community. Yes, it's must be the first positive drug test in your community. You knowly took PED before the 3 Towers, no wonder you are not going to defend yourself, you could face a lifetime banned like LA. L on your forehead!

    So 1000km on a MTB does not equal 1000km on a road bike. I was not very good at Maths at school, but 1+1 = 2 I think.

    Froome dog was training at altitude, local SA pro did not ride in their team kit, nor did our ladies.

    Our team consisted of an combined age of 554, ave age was 46, with 3 guys under 40. All 12 finished together in a time of 6:52. Good team work and an excellent weekend. Thanks Team Edenglen

    2011 as a all female tandem, this year as a mixed couple. We all know that on a mixed tandem its maLkes a big difference who is up front.
