  1. Completely agree, with the bigger suspension statement. I also beefed up the stopping power and I'll never look back... quad piston for life! As for JH some guys have said that they've smoothed out some of the gnar sections, not sure how true this as I've been grounded while waiting for my coil to arrive. Now let's go find some gnar!
  2. Haven't even started to turn any thingys yet, I'm trying the base tune for a bit. Yoh that ccdb looks sweeeeet!but over kill for me (I weigh a little more than a bag of cement????)
  3. You won't regret it. The climb switch is an awesome feature.
  4. I'll just leave this here... she grew a coil. Too much travel? What is this blasphemy
  5. What was the cost per person? How many riders made up your group? Oh my F..k my mind has been blown by seeing all the pics from over there, not only the amazing trails but the architecture and landscape is just wow!
  6. I'll do you the honours and let you loan me the bike for this weekend ???? I'll be gentle
  7. Let's just say all that grip comes at a price...but that said it's not terrible... I climb sloooooooow anyway (strava will confirm)
  8. It appears that with the evolution of AM riding the hoops have gotten wider making the tyre sizes go bigger and bigger and we're not even talking about plus size tyres anymore... 2.6-2.8 is like the new standard. Before embarking to Lesotho for the kingdom enduro I was left in a predicament, (huge maxxis fan) I couldn't get my trusty minions in the size I wanted, no one had stock... so I did my usual online homework and couldn't find them anywhere. It would appear that maxxis only goes to 2.3 then there after it's their "special wide trails version (once again the industry pushing riders to buy into the latest tech) I then got hold of Brenton from trailtech and he hooked me up with some e-thirteen 2.35 rubber... here is my quick review (remember big maxxis fan) Fitting the tyres is easy...like really easy... you don't even need a compressor to mount them to the hoop. Weight, they're not the lightest but they roll beautifully. They look "moto" and they stick like poo on a catippilar boot. Out the box for the first couple rides they're almost too grippy but as they wear in they get better and better really inspiring confidence not like the minions are by any means any less grippy however there's a section of the minion between the side knobs and centre knobs (No man's land) that is not for everyone as it forces the rider to commit to the corner and rail hard otherwise you're buying real estate. (Those of us who love minion know what I mean... that brief moment when leaning the bike over you drift into the berm before the side knobs tear into the earth causing near cardiac arrest ) In short if you are looking to buy some new rubber but not looking to beef up your hoops look no further the e-thirteen. Just get in touch with BIBI here on the hub.
  9. How much buck for all this bang?
  10. PM if you feel like you NEED to part with the vivid????
  11. How's that x2 compared with the debonair? I must admit I found my fox kashima HV on the trance smoother than the RS Debonair on my reign.... decisions... but then there's the mrp coils mmm dreamy
  12. Not sure if he's still active here but I saw him just the other day building his evil up... Hopefully we'll be seeing him and his evil out on the trails soon!
  13. Hopefully Brenton posts his Evil here, maybe one when I'm big I can also ride an evil until then I'll have to just drool over this thread!
  14. How many randelas for the tool? How is it quality wise?
  15. #kakkingforklippies coming to an Instagram near you soon!
  16. Chewing at the bit! #minikingdomenduro
  17. Any feedback yet? I've subscribed but nada....
  18. Side note it appears that maxxis are impossible to get at the moment everyone has no stock of the dhr or dhf 2.4 27.5 so I pulled the trigger on some e-thirteen rubber.... not cheap but then again maxxis ain't cheap either. Will report back after kingdom enduro how they faired.
  19. Awesome pics! I had no horse in the race to be honest this sort of racing isn't usually my cup of tea but wow what a track watched the whole thing start to finish! Nino lost but who else throws a whip in the middle of a race? And the lines he takes! What a final lap!!!
  20. Is this all part of training for ezel? Can't be a serious #enduro rider without a van bro #vanlife.... hahaha! Nice wheels
  21. Break it in... or break it... looks rad though
  22. Not sure about the reliability of the durolux but I met up with a rider from California at helderberg who rides in the ews and he rides durolux... in short he rides the ****! Out of that fork made me look like I've never even been down there! So I think for us average joes it'll probably be more than enough fork and at that price who would complain
  23. Can the durolux take the mrp ramp control cartridge? Must say the ramp control is awesome! I didn't think I would play around to much with it but after having ridden the stage for a bit I now change the ramp control for the different trail conditions which makes the fork so much more versatile.... it's like the leatherman of forks!
  24. You got me there but on the flip side mrp has super long service intervals and at the price of services if you do it through the agents I'm sure the maintenance costs would slowly offset... but durolux is a beast of a fork
  25. Mrp all the way!
