  1. It was deserved. It's the same kind of sleazeball moves politicians pull. Play the man and you can dismiss the argument.
  2. I'm fine with person's sharing anecdote, but it ends up in a massive echo chamber with folks entrusting their long term health based on YouTube videos, blogs and "what this other chap said on the hub".
  3. Please don't speak on my behalf. I'm not a child and don't need you patronizing me.
  4. Anyone else here who has uses Camelbak's Quick Stow flasks? Got a pair together with a Nano vest and the flasks leaks between the cap and thread if you apply a little pressure to the flask. Disappointed with the seals (or lack thereof).
  5. Blasted through season 2 of Westworld. Still need to have it percolate a bit before rendering a verdict. That post-credits scene tho!
  6. And you’re not going to find carnivore studies. Why? Because what research team is going to get ethics clearance to put people on such a diet when there’s a mountain of evidence to indicate the role of high meat consumption in chronic lifestyle diseases. You’re also not going to find epidemiological data because there isn’t any, because no population eats like that. This internet diet is nothing but a dangerous and socially irresponsible fad, led by halfwits such as Shawn Baker.
  7. I’m a big bad carnivore, but I gotta **** in a bag stapled to my gut. It’s the carbs that did it I tell ya!
  8. Carnivore diet: a dummies’ guide to heart disease and asshole cancer.
  9. Anyone having issues today syncing activities from their Garmin to Express and Strava? My Forerunner is syncing, but the activities aren't being pushed to my phone.
  10. Listen, the oke got crop dusted properly. Clearly didn't bother him.
  11. I wish he did. Even a post-race cuddle would've been nice.
  12. The reason I'm asking is because at a recent 25km race, after the first few km's the runners were nicely spread out and you basically had the road to yourself. There was this chap who was on my heels for literally 80% of the run. At one point I stopped to take a leak and he passed. I caught back up to him and he latched on again. What's worse is he had the cheek to pass me about 5m before the finish. I feel so used...
  13. I've noticed significant decreases in my pace when approaching lady runners in toit running pants. Don't know what's up with that.
  14. Quick question on pacing in races. Is it bad etiquette to latch onto another runner's heels for a whole race or is there no real concept such as doing your bit at the front?
  15. The most disturbing thing in there is the frost on the freezer compartment.
  16. What is the opposite of dry and fresh?
  17. Can you blame me?
  18. If you need to include transfer duty in your home loan, are you in the right financial position to buy a property in the first place?
  19. "Meems" or "me-mes"?
  20. *hath Please use proper Ye Olde English on this thread. There are scorned ex-wives reading this.
  21. Tough old bastard. He'll be leaving a big hole in the sport. RIP David Beckham's Elderly Fan.
  22. It does that to return related titles (e.g. similar genres, actors, etc.) to the one you searched.
  23. Everyone knows the '98 Championship was held in Brazil.
  24. Just be careful of the older tyres, which were typically optimised to run on much narrower rims. Thus, those tyres tend to get squared off on wide rims. A good option is to look into the WT range from Maxxis. Perhaps a 2.6 Rekon up front and an Ardent Race at the back.
