I see there's a new Van Helsing series coming with a female lead, I hope it isn't as terrible as Wynonna Earp...

One episode would have made it a movie... I do miss the way Season 1 worked where we didn't know it was in the future and all that, but, I'm still interested to see where it's going, I'm sure they're planning a third season.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Kingdom over the weekend - first time a fictional show about MMA hasn't sucked in my opinion.

I haven't seen the movie, but I am not planning to any time soon with all these amazing reviews doing the rounds, I think that comment about it being long is quite possibly the nicest and most positive comment I've read about it...

We had a ride today with some work colleagues at The Big Red Barn where we donated money to Animals In Distress as part of Mandela Day. As usually happens with these things, 20+ people said they were coming, and in the end there was 5 of us. BikeHub was at least in 'full' attendance with TheRealMJ and I being there. Had a weird issue with my MTB rear wheel not spinning properly so took the road bike and played on the green routes. Interesting experience to say the least, but still fun.

Strava can be a great motivator for those days you don't feel like doing it, then you remember that segment you're trying to own and suddenly the motivation is strong again.

Many hours spent with my friends trying to get the pkunzip (I'd forgotten all about this until seeing Larry now) working, and then trying to figure out a social security number to make it work... I had the orange and black, and I wanted to cry when I had to go back to that from my friends' EGA awesomeness. Does anybody else remember Prehistorik? Whole point of the game was to collect food to feed your caveman family. Now that was an awesome game.

One of my buddies had that on pc. His parents had a shiny new computer with an EGA screen - we didn't know you could have so many (read 16) colours on a screen.
