    I am a very social and light drinker . Max 2 beers and NEVER anything else . When offered / coerced into a drink I just say I am a recovering alcoholic and don't drink . Works perfectly ... actually makes the person offering/forcing drinks feel like a real tjop ...

    My sentiment is that at least we are going to get some racing . Why 7 in Spain ?? Did Dorna put out an explanation on that ? I am sure ALL concerned parties signed off on the new calendar . Logistics might have played their part in this decision . Frankly , there is now very little room for error , races are too close together . The right wrist and the brain are going to have to work in sync this year .... Can't wait !!!!

    A ban on alcohol would not effect me . I believe I am a responsible drinker . 1 maybe 2 beers then no more . However , people like me ( the majority I presume ) are not the problem . Being blind drunk and still thinking you are OK to drive is the problem . I wish there was a solution to this problem . RIP to the cyclist .

    I have been saying for a while that Honda need Pol on that bike . Watch him ride the KTM .... He is 100% all the time . I think his aggressive style will suite the Honda , and if nothing else he has a few years worth of experience in the MotoGP category . Is he a better option than AM73 ??? And is it a done deal ??Time will tell . If he does move , it certainly puts BB33 in a better position to be the number 1 rider . ( Unless KTM have signed Dovi , as the rumour mill suggests ) .

    At the beginning of our Lockdown , Strava ran a special of R600 (approximately)for a year . I joined , and now don't actually see the need for TrainingPeaks . I don't use/have a coach , just used it as a backup and also to see details . Strava premium now does what I need . I think it is fair value .

    Howzit SwissVan , You gonna LOVE that Tarmac . I have one with Ultegra Di2 .... The Di2 is the bomb .... very reliable and the battery last for ever .... I have the original Dura-Ace Di2 (7970 I think ) on my tandem and Ultegra 8050 on the Tarmac . I think the new Di has stronger servo's as the changing is slicker than on the old Di . Enjoy the new bike . Regards to your Goose .

    Duane , I am only on level 11,5 ... need about 3 rides before I qualify . Did ride up there in the Tour de Zwift last year .... 64 minutes and 2 weeks recovery ...

    Scubes , the thinking is that if you happen to crash , even alone , and need to be hospitalised , you may take up a bed that someone with corona virus could have used . Not saying I agree , but I understand the thinking .

    We on 1461 . Just need a few more active and safe days and Private Club will be done again . For the little inconvenience of doing a Health assessment , the discount benefits on Myriad alone are well worth it . Never mind Garmin discount and Healthsaver returns ....

    Have the same problem with my Dischem card . Now I need to go to Dischem to sort it out . Really getting tired of Multiply and all their technical issues . Surely if the card was working , they should be able to sort it out .

    I have asked what their criteria for the push-ups is . As I mentioned I managed 26 . I am 54 years old . Not sure how they score this , awaiting answers to my queries .

    RLucas , no they are not . I did my Health assessment last week . Had to do as many push-ups in 1 min as possible (26 for a skinny roadie ) , then they calculate the step height according to height and I had to do 6min34 on a step of 38cm high . You wear a HR strap and at the end of my 6 min , they look at your resting heart rate after 1 min post steps (if that makes sense ) . You also do the grip strength test ... no idea why . It is a lot tougher than previous tests , presuming push-ups and step ups is not your thing .
