Here are some that I have read . Some good , some ok !! The Tour according to G ... I thought it was excellent , especially how he explains their communication during the TTT . Jens Voigt . Shut Up Legs ... Exactly what you expect , down to earth and light hearted . Tour De Lance . Bill Strickland .... Fair read 23 Days in July . John Wilcockson . Excellent Bad Blood . Jeremy Whittle . Not bad but a bit tedeous . Thomas Dekker , The Descent ... Excellent . Proper insight into doping in the early 2000"s 7 Deadly Sins ... David Walsh . No wonder he always felt so strong about Armstrong being a doper ... great insight .
  2. I see they have signed Marc Pritzen to the European Feeder squad (Pro tour I think it is called ) .

Apparently the weather was hot , and the Yam works better in the heat . Generally MM93 doesn't do a time attack at the end of the test session . The Ducati / Marques fight this weekend could be a hum dinger ...
  16. Awesome news .... another Saffa at world tour level . Dreams do happen !!!!

Was he pushed or did he jump ???? Brad is sponsored by KTM , I think they tell him where he is most needed . I am betwixed and between here ... Glad he has the ride and know he will make the most of it ....HOWEVER , Riding an uncompetitive bike in MotoGP can be a limiting option . Look at Thom Luthi , and Tito Rabat ....Luthi back in Moto2 and Tito on his way . Zarco not exactly performing like he did on the Yam , and Hafis Syrihn back to Moto2 . Brad is certainly WAY better that HS , but Zarco was 2 x Moto2 WC and Rabat 1x . I wish Brad all the very best and would love to see him make a huge success of this , but am sceptical due to the machinery , and he only has a 1 year deal .

Ha Ha , Was thinking the same .... maybe he went to Japan to learn how to dive bomb and t-bone properly ....
  21. Fully agree with you DSW , but how many times have we seen riders in the break that are not big names or GC contenders , and the main bunch get their sums wrong and never catch the break .... Tommy Voeckler is a prime example ... Maybe there is an unpolished diamond hiding somewhere in the depths of the TDD despair.....
  22. My opinion is that Cav is done as a TDF sprint stage winner . He looks nervous in the bunch compared with the likes of Vivianni and Gaviria et al . What about TDD sending a team of young , hungry guys who may just throw cation to the wind and get an unexpected result or two . If their DS allows . I would however certainly throw Eddie Boss into the mix as he seems to really be able to self motivate , which might rub off on a few younger guys , don't think it will have any affect on Cav . There might even be a small rivalry between them 2 ....

Think you comparing apples with lemons here !! I never said I didn't think he could still win , but it is highly unlikely , and he has 0% chance of winning this championship this year .

Make no mistake I love Rossi and all he has achieved , and done to make MotoGP mainstream . However , he hasn't won in a very long time , and his last championship was 2009 . Many top athletes retire at the top of their game (CS27) and many carry on for maybe 1 or 2 years too many ..... Rossi is edging towards the latter ..... Colin Edwards said 0.1 of a second per year slower from about age 33 onwards . I am certainly not comparing Rossi/Edwards , just mentioning that maybe Father Time IS starting to have an adverse effect on VR46 !!

Man of the Match for me was Rins . He went from 13th to 4th on a bike that got SMOKED every lap down the long straight . It was a great race ..... fast flowing tracks generally make for better , closer racing . VR46 , time to think about a retirement package and let us remember you for all the right reasons
