I have been following this from the start . Firstly , glad the OP is finally getting back to riding . Secondly , thanks to BogusOne and Carbon Ninja for some very enlightening info regards carbon repairs . Seems like the 2 of you really know your story .

A while back a load of tar was dumped on part of our route . 2 guys from our group went there one Friday afternoon with a pick , spade , fork and broom and removed the said obstacle . I think concrete may not be quite as easy to remove , and also depending how much there is .

I bought a set of Prime 28mm full carbon wheels from CRC last January . Awesome set of wheels and they are doing deals now on 28 , 35 and 50mm full carbon wheels . My wheels were about R8500 landed in SA .
