  1. WOW .... magnificent !! Many years ago I had the KG56 . Wish I hadn't sold her .
  2. Very happy to see Gibbons in the team . I hope they get a stage win , and I hope it is by Gibbons , but he will need some luck to win . One thing is for sure , he will do the jersey proud . Good luck to NTT !!
  3. Does it come with a HR strap ?? If not , can a Wahoo HR strap be linked ?
  4. My Active rewards have just disappeared , and didn't get one for last week . Anyone else have the same problem ??

My sentiment is that at least we are going to get some racing . Why 7 in Spain ?? Did Dorna put out an explanation on that ? I am sure ALL concerned parties signed off on the new calendar . Logistics might have played their part in this decision . Frankly , there is now very little room for error , races are too close together . The right wrist and the brain are going to have to work in sync this year .... Can't wait !!!!
  6. Swiss Van , Many happy miles . You gonna love that . Ultegra Di ?? Why DT Swiss , not Roval wheels ?? I have CLX 50 on my Tarmac ... Love them . Perfect for all the big climbs on the East Rond .....

I have been saying for a while that Honda need Pol on that bike . Watch him ride the KTM .... He is 100% all the time . I think his aggressive style will suite the Honda , and if nothing else he has a few years worth of experience in the MotoGP category . Is he a better option than AM73 ??? And is it a done deal ??Time will tell . If he does move , it certainly puts BB33 in a better position to be the number 1 rider . ( Unless KTM have signed Dovi , as the rumour mill suggests ) .

BB 33 and his boet are on their way to Austria as I type this . Hopefully they can get back to their normal asap . Good luck to them both .
  10. We on 1461 . Just need a few more active and safe days and Private Club will be done again . For the little inconvenience of doing a Health assessment , the discount benefits on Myriad alone are well worth it . Never mind Garmin discount and Healthsaver returns ....

MM93 has re- signed with Honda till end 2024 .
  12. Have the same problem with my Dischem card . Now I need to go to Dischem to sort it out . Really getting tired of Multiply and all their technical issues . Surely if the card was working , they should be able to sort it out .
  13. Ladies push - ups ...yes . Knees on the ground !
  14. I have asked what their criteria for the push-ups is . As I mentioned I managed 26 . I am 54 years old . Not sure how they score this , awaiting answers to my queries .
  15. RLucas , no they are not . I did my Health assessment last week . Had to do as many push-ups in 1 min as possible (26 for a skinny roadie ) , then they calculate the step height according to height and I had to do 6min34 on a step of 38cm high . You wear a HR strap and at the end of my 6 min , they look at your resting heart rate after 1 min post steps (if that makes sense ) . You also do the grip strength test ... no idea why . It is a lot tougher than previous tests , presuming push-ups and step ups is not your thing .
  16. Fully agree here John , I have just finished reading Jens Voigt's book and he speaks very highly of Riis as a team owner and DS . Certainly he has a way of extracting the best out of his riders . Clean or not ???? Time will tell .
  17. I have a set of Prime wheels (28mm) . I absolutely love them . They are my training wheels so get used a lot . Now that CRC are no longer using Skynet , these wheels are well worth bringing in . I have the staright pull spokes on the upgraded hub . Was about 1K more for that option . Total landed here with all duties was about 10K .
  18. Vman12 did you do 115km/h down Fields Hill ???? BIG KUHUNA'S if you did ....
  19. I have been following this from the start . Firstly , glad the OP is finally getting back to riding . Secondly , thanks to BogusOne and Carbon Ninja for some very enlightening info regards carbon repairs . Seems like the 2 of you really know your story .
  20. A while back a load of tar was dumped on part of our route . 2 guys from our group went there one Friday afternoon with a pick , spade , fork and broom and removed the said obstacle . I think concrete may not be quite as easy to remove , and also depending how much there is .
  21. Thanks John , I know right now it isn't World Tour ..... yet !!
