Remember when you enter and you don't want a medal in the Nissan Trailseeker series, please donate your medal Money to Choc in the entry process and help us make a difference.
Because I have dealt with Ricky and the guys at Concept before (both my bikes are Spez). Never heard of Cyclist Workshop before, will definitely go take a look then. Thanks!
Ricky has been doing this for years, he started in a back of a garage in the same area, then moved to Fourways and now back in our hood again. He wont disappoint. There is only 2 mechanics I use.
Depending on which side of that area you are on, I have heard many many good things about West Rand Cycles... I am on the Eagle Canyon side, so too much of a drive for me, so guess its Concept at Fourways for me...
Why so far if Cyclist Workshop is just down the road from Eagle Canyon, they at Peters Plants. Joshua does a great job

Look out for the Cows at the Nissan Races
Medals are not as expensive as you might think. I'm talking about the run of the mill stuff you get at fun rides. They sometimes cost less than R10.
If 400 entrants reject the medal and ask that money be donated, it's still a decent total though.
At the Nissan Trailseeker races, you can decide not to receive a medal and donate your medal money to Choc, so help us and donate your medal money to Choc when Entering the Trailseeker series in JHB

Loved the route, proper mountain biking and i did not have any problems with water at the tables, and yes i was out there for 6:44 on the 72km, I even had some water to drink from the river on the top of that killer climb. There was a small fortune out on the route of water bottles, bombs, glases and tools etc
The black actualy is looking better on the bike, I would go with that.
Hey guys who all was helped by the Choc Cows on the route? We where out there helping out on route with punctures etc and had a group that we rent out with the Rent A Cow at all the Nissan Races so parents can go do their race and the Cows are rented out for R150 to ride with your kids, all funds raised goes to Choc.
If you where helped or one of the back markers where the Cows kept you company to finish your race,You can help make a difference by making any donation to http://www.givengain.com/activist/100145/projects/
Our Last cow on the 75km came in after being out for 7hrs So please help make a difference, we helped a lot of people out there to go finish their race. Support us at the next races.
Or you can send a SMS "rentacow" to 40021 to donate R20
Thanks to www.buycycle.co.za profiding all the goodies to help on the route with all the punctures etc.
Single Day can join on the SunIsn't there a single day race the week before?
Won't come Close to the Monster, but a good challenge with clumbs and rocky downhillsi saw a comment here on thehub along the lines of "redstone is one of the toughest 50km events in the area"... i would assume excluding the monster, of course. keen to try it out, have ridden sections of it. probably next on my list.
Go do some Swaziland Races, thats real mtb, love it
Think Knog has these, saw it somewhere before
I'll just put a bit more wear in my tyres then back to UST
Awesome race and great experience. Great meeting you @Dirt*girl and thanks for everything, see you again next year
I saw this ploy yours on twitter…
You get enough training to do this riding from your place to the pub and back, you should win this category
