  1. Who were you thinking of hacking?
  2. sorry, its www.illuder.com not .co.za...
  3. Not quite sure what you are looking for, but try www.illuder.co.za. They have all sorts of security related stuff (I think covert stuff as well).
  4. The guys had one off match. I hardly think its time to dust off the old pitch forks and go looking for someone to linch (just yet). Hopefully they redeem themselves with the next game. Pity Bakkies won't be able to do the same - at least not for a while...
  5. Chuck Norris and Vernon Koekemoer both have Springbok jerseys with Bakkies' name on the back.
  6. Guys, everybody and his dog knows bakkies' role is as enforcer - hence the nickname - bakkies the enforcer... He's like Malema - a distraction. Two or three hits in a game and everybody is looking out for bakkies rather than concentrating on the game. The way the boks were playing, they would have lost with or without bakkies. It was like they were just not there.
  7. I have a Polar RS800 multi-sport. It came with a GPS thingy which works quite nicely. I have used it for cycling and running and have been very happy with it. Only downside/ drawback is that the GPS thingy eats batteries. I replace the battery after every use. However, since it only uses 1 AA battery, this isn't too much of a hassle - rechargeables are cheap!

    truth

I have a Cajees close to where I stay and it is more expensive than the cycle lab down the road or the FPC shop...
  9. Is it just me, or does the forum search function not work so lekker? I have tried a few rudamentary searches and none of them come up with any hits...
  10. I bought mine from a US online shop. Changing to metric is very easy.
  11. You can also upload photos from your pc by clicking on the "full editor" button and then attaching photos to your post.
  12. I really miss being able to simple paste a picture into a reply (or am I missing something?).
  13. Hey Rudi You have to admit it is fishy (see my post on Buycycle thread for pun)... Yesterday we all get spammed by these guys and today you show up on the hub plugging their website?
  14. I also got two - one to my home address and one at work I haven't subscribed to any MTN stuff, but Nissan for the Nissan series. Other than the hub, and the Nissan series, the only other cycling related subscription I have (or website I visit) is tread mag. What's the difference between a catfish and a spammer? One is a bottom dwelling, **** sucking loach - the other is a fish.
  15. Dude, sorry to sound insensitive, but what were you expecting? You broke all the basic rules of SA city living. 1. Never park and then put away your GPS 2. Never open your door until you have sorted the guys out (ie paid the car protection racketeer his R2) 3. Never leave your door open longer than you need to get in 4. Never show these guys that you are carrying valuables of any sort 5. Camera = tourist = easy target with lots of expensive stuff - keep the camera in the bag until you are well clear of your car This should be Big City 101 for all Saffers...
  16. I Know! Don't you just hate that - all those Saffers in Oz prowling the SA websites telling everybody how glad they are that they moved? Anyway, not even chops like these are going to make me enjoy the world cup vibe any less!
  17. Cervello, you are a twit! Neanderthals like you are keeping the embers of mistrust and hate smouldering. Why don't you just immigrate already?! I for one will be having a BIG jol starting today and ending July 12 (when I'll inevitably have to deal with a month's worth of hangovers in one day).
  18. Does that amount include your bond registration costs, or only the transfer duties? Are you transferring to a natural person or to a legal entity? Excluding bond registration, you should be paying about R68000. The following is a typical breakdown for a property of that value (of course I don't provide any guarantee that this is 100% accurate): Transfer FeesNatural PersonsLegal PersonsTransfer Fees11,400.00 11,400.00 Vat @ 14%1,596.00 1,596.00 Deeds Office Levy500.00 500.00 TOTAL:13,496.00 13,496.00 Transfer Duty53,000.00108,000.00 TOTAL:66,496.00 121,496.00 Postage and Petties:399.00 399.00 Rates/Levy Clearance114.00 114.00 Pro-Rata Rates/Levies1,140.00 1,140.00 Exclusive Use0.00 0.00 Bank Electronic Connection Fee96.90 96.90 Fica285.00 570.00 TOTAL:68,530.90 123,815.90 If its only for the duties, I think you are being over charged.
  19. Why would this be? Please expand? The Windows drivers that comes with the silver usb IRDA does not work on the Windows 7 - 64 bit combination. So the device never activates when you plug it into the usb port. According to Polar's website they cant offer you updated drivers you have to buy a new device of about R400. I bought a generic IR adaptor on ebay for R30. Just plugged it in and it works with the generic drivers on windows 7 64bit. (This is with the RS800' date=' not sure about any other polar products.) You might not need the polar branded IR to connect to your pc. [/quote'] I can confirm this. A friend of mine has an RS400 and he also uses a R50 IR thingy which I got on ebay for him. Works just as well as my original polar IR thingy (the RS800CX comes with one).
  20. My wife and I both have Polars (Me an RS800CX and hers an RS400). We have changed batteries on both watches ourselves without issue. Wife's watch later went in for another problem - polar changed the battery again, re-sealed the watch and fixed her wind sensor. The service was very fast - had the watch back in 4 days. I don't know which model you were looking at, but I can highly recommend the RS800. I love my polar!
  21. Cooler as Ekke - Jack Parrow
  22. It might be.... As long as its black and has space to fit a blue light somewhere....
  23. Only if you can catch Bra Juliaaas's delivery bike...
  24. Are you saying Bra Juliaaas can't ride a bike!?! You must be a white agent bastard guy! If this was a press conference I'd ask you to leave!
  25. Actually I heard that the ANCYL now holds the land speed record - Bra Juliaaas broke it on a bicycle in the main street of Ventersdorp
