Also in Access Park, cant remember the name of the shop. Its a big store, they stock fox clothing as well
  4. PoS I would still like to meet up some time, sorry I haven't contacted you yet, things have been a bot crazy my side. I am back from Rustenburg on Wednesday, maybe we can meet on Thursday or Friday, but I have a meeting on Friday, 12 till 1pm.
  5. I presume this is for just the frame, but I would love it to be for the full bike set up
  6. How much?
  7. My link This is *** funny
  8. Rode the rehabilitated lower DH section yesterday (I presume we are allowed to), it is super quick, very sandy at the moment but understandable seeming it is a work in progress, it is going to be top notch once complete.
  9. No problem, just drop me a PM or something, hopefully I will be available, hopefully no meeting clashes either. Would be nice to hear and see the ideas people have
  10. When is the course walk?
  11. PoS answered it better than I did, he is more diplomatic. My bad
  12. Another bad attitude. You obviously missed the other trail maintenance notifications trail days. Can you please tell us which of the XC trails need 'upgrading', and I am sure we will gladly assist in making them nice and rideable for you, cos I only presume they are not rideable, hence the upgrading request.
  13. Isn't the weekend of the 1st & 2nd October the last race in the Mongoose Downhill Series, at Contemanskloof?
  14. Hey bud, I'm keen to ride, you gonna be able to? I there is a frame available for R1000 excl shock, R1500 incl shock. The Raleigh RDH 7.0 / Azonic Eliminator Downhill Frame
  15. I really don't know much more than that, but it usually boils down to land use negotiations. That is the biggest issue when it comes to organizing races, even if it is Urban. No one ever wants to commit to anything, thus prob the down low.
  16. I am definitely in. More info will follow, as soon as all the agreements are finalized.

    DH trails in CT

You will never find it. Its a myth, a MYTH I tell you
  18. Mr. Wolff, you like a good argument I see. I didn't realize you took the whole riding thing so seriously.
  19. Maybe we should just put this to bed. Everyone has had there say, whether right or wrong. Fighting on the Hub is not going to solve any issues at all, if anything it will create hernias. TMNP has a plan for Tokai, we all know this, and that is to rid the area of the Pine trees to bring the mountain back to its original state. Bear in mind the area is a National Park with their priority area being to ensure that the area is as natural as possible, they don't have to allow MTB in the park but they do. If they see that it can turn into a sour relationship among riders I'm sure they will be happy to either reduce the area, or numbers, which we can ride, or ban riding altogether. But if we should a strong sense of community it bodes well for MTB as a whole, whether DH, XC, Freeride, UNi, etc. As we know plans are in the pipeline to create a park full of trails to accommodate the vast numbers of riders which frequent the trails. We need to embrace this, we need to contribute, through voluntary maintenance days, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, innovative ideas, etc. All this mud slinging is not going to help anyone, if some one has an idea, or an opinion, we must acknowledge it, and then as a collective decide if it is the best option. I seriously think we need to end this discussion once and for all. And remember politeness goes along way, even if someone is being absolutely ridicules. Don't even know if this makes sense, I wrote this in a rush.
  20. Nice write up Dan, if anyone else has photos, pop them on the forum, its awesome to show the other people, who were not able to make it or are overseas.
  21. Count me in plus one
  22. Wow, R1150, that's quite steep. I sold an mongoose, thingy ma bob, complete bike, with for a R1000. Cant remember the components though.
  23. Hey Admin, awesome to see the pictures, unfortunately it doesn't do the track justice. It has to be seen to appreciate it more. I am riddled with burn marks thanks to the stubborn rock. Well we showed it who is boss.
  24. I'm taking mine, don't see why not.
