  1. Zwift !! OP mentions he wants to get going again... The boredom of Trainerroad will get him off his bike in no time. TR is great for when you looking to improve those numbers and sharpen up. Sufferfest, great app but I no longer use it as it doesnt support my old cycleops trainer. Zwift is great to start with, the group rides and races really help to keep you going. There are loads of group events that are 60 mins at below 2-2.5 w/kg. No better way to pass an hour.
  2. as mentioned above, it will be handled by SA Post office. Had a similar experience last year, took a long time to figure out that the parcel was sitting at my local post office. Check the SAPO tracking with the DHL tracking number you have. https://trackmyparcel.co.za/track/sapo
  3. @ Waynemol, perfection simplified ! Thats a slick ride and the small touches really make it stand out.
  4. Reebok Zjet 460 arrived on Tuesday, and also Spez 4iii crank arm power meter added onto my Swift Uvox. Was the only treadmill that fitted into my budget that we could get without waiting weeks for it. Paincave/home office set up. Just need to tidy up all the cables etc.
  5. Assos all the way ! I have a Supremo bib and they are nice, but my Assos Cento and S9 are still ALOT more comfy.
  6. exactly what I did when I lived in Jozi 5 yearss ago and just started cycling at the time. Financial position was very different and couldn't afford the crazy priced stuff. I used the cheap "warehouse spec" high viz windbreaker style jacket, a first ascent thermal base layer and cycling top. Mr Price Sport buff and leg warmers. It kept me warm enough for 5am rides.
  7. for the price, the Anatomic SA winter jacket looks like a good deal. With a base layer, cycling shirt then jacket, that will keep you warm in Jozi winter. but you still need all the other winter gear.
  8. Did you come right ? They use RPX it comes in via Linex air services. I ordered 2 sets from Ican and they got here in about 10 days. First set has done about 8000km and they are holding up very well.
  9. you probably wont use more than 3-4 sprockets, okay maybe 5-6 if you really want to push high power at a low cadence. so sould be fine. give it a try, if it doesnt work sell the 105 cassette and get what you need.
  10. a quick view including hours and mileage. With nothing else to do during April, I spent ALOT of time on the IDT doing Zwift races and the weekend endurance rides. FTP improved big time during this time, and now my average speed outdoors is up by around 3-4km/hr riding around my local circuits.
  11. I bought one pair of Anatomic Platinum bibs in 2017, and they really not the best as the chamios moves around alot, there was another thread some time back with few other guys experiencing the same. Maybe they have improved the fit since. Got a pair or GSG few months ago and they have been good.
  12. TSS: 632 IF: 0.69 watching my numbers slowly drop but work stress is holding me back a bit...
  13. I have seen these Reeboks, just abit concerned about the reliability of them.
  14. too much maybe ... ? you want all the attention on the frame. Keep everything else subtle, just my take on it.
  15. no stock... they are expecting a shipment in by the 23rd.
  16. i've been looking for a while and as you say SW did have a few online, now all gone. I'll wait a few more weeks, hopefully more stores will be able to sell.
  17. no stock of the Elite at both stores. Anyone have experience with these Nordic units ?
  18. Hey Guys. Anyone know if possible to buy a treadmill during level, more importantly from where ? I am based in Durban. I have been looking online and cant seem to find much, only Sportmans warehouse who have a Nordic Track T 7.5 but thats R26k. Budget is around the 15k mark, just need something reliable. Not serious runners, wont spend more than an hour max on it.
  19. 452 854 805 709 874 462 575 I increased my hours big time during level 5. Since 1 May I have eased back a bit. Need to pick it up again and maintain for the next few months.
  20. Because its too hard for these okes to breathe, so they rather be selfish and have the mindset that the virus won't attack them nor will they be carriers. Why bother about others... I'm entitled to this BS ! Will see what they do once back in level 5
  21. I saw that while passing them so they are not applying the same mentality...
  22. Kloof this morning, group 5 of and a few without masks. About 70% without masks, and many just keeping the mask or buff around their neck, like seriously.
