  1. Quite good actually, Burry appears to ride harder when these things happen. Look how he reacted when called an overweight teenager by a certain ex roadie now MTB'er.
  2. .
  3. Littering occurs on and off the road. I recall a while back someone commented on one of the top junior MTB'rs who on finishing a race went back to pick up a wrapper he dropped along the way.
  4. Was that explained to Amoryn ? I doubt she would have highlighted it on here if you did. Also which category did the lady on the Dogma fall into.
  5. If the papers are correct, the WC is undergoing an influx from other provinces.
  6. Crazy, seems to be on the increase everywhere.
  7. Another consideration is if you ride against traffic and approach a busy intersection where you would turn left it would be far more difficult, particularly if the intersection had traffic lights as you would have to cut across both lanes.
  8. What makes you more visible riding against traffic as opposed to with it. A lot of roads also have pavements which makes it difficult to jump if you are riding against traffic and you believe a car is riding too close, something which is very easy to do as a jogger (been there done that). Hitting a car at 30km plus head on will be far more messy than if hit from behind. I ride weekdays early morning and must say iv'e never had an issue with joggers iv'e encountered, I do however do my morning rides on road but with my MTB and where there is a gravel shoulder i use that,
  9. Any one check his water bottle.,
  10. Cant be done, what would we do with all the red flashing rear lights.

Luck ??? The Lions were top of the log in the cup last year, sounds like hard work and dedication earned them that not luck.

    Rugby...

Perhaps that's the intention. While the other teams pointing and laughing they are scoring.
  16. Skip it and stay in bed like me I love the early year races, Emperors, R4S and Carnival all on my doorstep
  17. .
  18. Catching a lic bunch has only happened once to me and i lived to regret it. Riding the Edenvale race in BL we caught the ladies and had just passed them when someone in our bunch made a comment about "boep pens ooms" beating the ladies. That somewhat irritated them and the next moment they accelerated leaving us to eat their dust.
  19. VC should be neutralized until the bunch has passed then carry on with their own race, as is the case where Open groups catch lic ladies. Open riders are not allowed to interfere with Lic, same should apply for Lic riders not interfering with Open.
  20. Brain Study.... I've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time I've seen it with numbers. F1gur471v3ly 5p34k1ng? 23. IMO nothing said by the talk show host that iv'e not heard from other's. He also said he is not generalizing about all cyclist behaving improper.
  24. Rumor has it Contador could have proved his innocence by providing a hair sample which could prove deliberate abuse. However Contador was reluctant as it would mess up his hair Hair tests could prove deliberate Clenbuterol abuse http://www.cyclingne...enbuterol-abuse
