If we weren't so obsessed about our weight and how we look, these stuff would be cheap. We are creating a market for these products and the people manifacturing and selling it is rolling in the $$$$. My 2c... If you are an average guy/girl that's doing cycling to stay relatively healthy and enjoying the outdoors (i.e. you are not the professional riders that are getting paid to do it), a moderate diet with nothing excessive (yes, that goes for alcohol as well) then you will be fine. Too be FAT is not good for the heart and all that goes with it, but to be fit and slightly over-weight is better than to be skinny and unfit.

Going through all the trouble and not making some cash would be silly, don't you think? Speedi, people only jealous they did not take the opportunity first. The money going to the Livestrong foundation should already be included in the price Speedi pays for it.

I'm all in for the idea of daylight saving. Fewer people will get up earlier (5am) out of their own to cycle than the ones who will enjoy the extra 2 hours daylight after work. I'm sure it will do wonders for my glof handicap as well Unfortunately I cannot see it happening in SA anytime soon.
