  1. Lie down, did you? C'mon, tell us. Any pictures?
  2. Just reading Ironman stuff makes me tired. Good luck and post pictures of your race.
  3. Okay, so we agree on this. What is that changing or is different from yesterday and the day before? Question is, what are we doing, or going to do, about it? How are we going to get the municipalities to even consider such a suggestion? Where will the funds come from to build these lane, not even thinking of the current infrastructure and roads being neglected. Don't get me wrong, I WANT BIKE LANES AS WELL, but we need action and a solution, and I don't have any Suggestions are welcome if you are willing to act on it as well. Bike lanes are not the answer. Liabilty for any accident between a motorist and a cyclist or pedestrian must be shifted to the motorist on all roads bar freeways. It is the only way the law will be able to be enforced and a change of driver behaviours will come about. Change the law, thats the first step. Its far cheaper Change the law sounds simple. How do wedo it? Getting the LAW amended in my profession took over 4 years (which was apparently very quick) and this is still no guarantee that the new law is properly enforced.

  6. Only started riding regularly (i.e. got a decent bike and actually enjoy it now) in June 2009. The bike a bought has a fizik Gobi on. Initially thought @#$%, that has to hurt but was very surprized and relieved when after 2 weeks of riding it actually became much more comfy than expected. (maybe I just lost all feeling in my @ss )

  9. Sad indeed. I have many friends leaving SA for this exact reason. To some the same happened (robbed by gun-point) and others are just scared it will happen. Anyone aware of any incidents that took place this last weekend after the precautionary measures been put in place?
  10. Like the rotors... Will be my next upgrade.
  11. Eish... Hope you guys recover quickly.
  12. Tubeless for sure. I'll pay the extra on tires any day compared to the inconvenience of a flat.
  13. Unless you really like to struggle with it, just make a quick visit to the LBS and their machanic will surely assist and educate you. Maybe at a small fee, but then next time you know what to do. And is anything IS broken or leaking, you at the right place to get it fixed.

  21. You cannot and should not differenciate what some people call secular life to your religion. It defines you. I am a Follower of Jesus and proud to say so, whether I do it on this forum, at work, playing golf or catching fish in Mozambique... Frail, I will join you with this suggestion and really hope many others do so too. Enjoy riding, wherever you do it in 2010.
  22. Dankie Para.
  23. I'm relatively new to this game, but last few MTB races I did almost ALL the riders were wearing lycra and very few baggy shorts... C'mon guys, practice what you preach at the next race.
  24. Probably cannot afford it, so do not need to worry about my head.
