Since it is a pro sport I have nothing against overseas based players, as long as they are the best for the job. That said, JP was useless and Jaques was not a lot better. Lambie proved he can't handle those big shoes. Scrappy game though, ref confused and lost it. Bad pitch proved too much to handle for the scrums.

I have a question, why are Magura brakes so expensive? I have the mt6 on my bike but from the start thought I might replace them. After seeing what they cost I decided to give them a go, but they are average at most, my old xt's were better.

It's a shame it works on Bluetooth though, limits the useful application. But a nice idea to build on.

This morning while we were out training a woman was hooting at us repeatedly, still don't know why, we were in the yellow lane out of harms way. So we decided next time someone tries something we will sing them a song, maybe he will sing and I will ad some sound effects and a bit of dancing. It doesn't help to fight with these people as they obviously don't use the brains they were blessed with.

Be sure to check the WADA list, Prexum Plus for example is not allowed. The indapamide used as combination with the perindopril in many blood pressure tablets is banned in and out of competition. This will be the case for most of the xxx PLUS blood pressure tablets.

I would like something carbon to save some weight, main purpose of the bike is for the Cape Epic. I am not an aggressive trail rider, more XC Marathon type. Went for a test drive on the Scott Spark 900RC and Giant Anthem Advanced today, the Giant felt very upright with the Scott very aggressive. Read good reviews on the Giant, but the upright feel troubled me a bit, I assume another handlebar and stem angle would sort this out. Anyone riding one of these bikes?

So it seems that most bike shops are out of stock on anything large in my price range, any thoughts on the Merida Big Ninety Nine Pro 3000? I can get one of these, but can't find any good reviews?

Since my HT was stolen a few months ago I have been doing some research and shopping for a replacement FS. Because I am doing the Cape Epic next year, I assume a FS would be the better option. My budget allows something in the 35k-45k region, thus I am looking at a Scott Spark 910 as a good option. The only problem is not one of the bike shops I have visited seems to have a LARGE in stock, waiting for new stock will take a while with a huge price increase. Does anybody know of a shop that may have one in stock, or have a suggestion for another brand in the same price/spec region? Thanks Edit: Meant to post in Buyers Guide...concentrate.....
