i agree with howard, i did the 44km and the simondium road, there isnt any "yellow lane" and the cars came past flying! and we had alot of kids riding with us!!! in my opinion the burger is just taking our money and spalt, no water at stations etc, just coke, no powerade??? we actually just paid to ride helz as far as im concerned - and our marshall was having an ice cold windhoek lager while standing next to the road, just to get up on his motorbike and wait for us at the R44 , nah, done with burger, not worth the money

okay, now let us go back on this and see how many "bosses" like myself are on hub now chatting away and there are other people working now to help us having enough money and time to chat ....

wel im also "the boss" and must be honest, my people come FIRST,, this **** about buying cars for company blah blah, man if you have a little extra, give a little to the people that makes YOU rich cause without them you wont be THE MAN!! they have kids etc, why cant they get 'n a little extra for their kids???? but ja you are probably a tipical director,, enjoy your money!!

did my first on mtb, with mtb tyres,, nah,, rather do it on roadbike!! much more fun and speed on the flats!!

sorry i meant, i didnt like the sit position on the trance! - i just want bike that hasnt got the same frame design as the trance, dont like it much,,, what other bikes are nice and in 15000-20000 range? thank you for the advice so far, really appreciate it!

Hi guys - i did the sani this year on my Giant Trance 2 - i ride almost everyday and lost about 15kg. The problem i have with my Trance is the sit position, as i really feel like im sitting "into" the bike, Harley move! I like to sit up and always move forward on the seat when i climb. I do alot of trail riding - bottelary trails and durbanville trails. I have alot of hassles with my gears, probably becuase i ride alot!? Now the question, i would like to buy a bike for the sani in January - my weight is 94kg and my budget is R20 000 ... The guy at cyclab said i must look at 29er - but doesnt it make climbing even worse? I love merida bikes - what would you guys buy if it was your decision? PLEASE HELP! thank you!!

thanks - i normally ride from the spar - just outside zevenwacht - up die the signal then all die the way down back to the restuarant and then up on the far side ( bot trail) and over to bottelary rd exit at hazendal... really enjoy the ride!!

hi guys - anyone of you done the green loop? i normal go form zevenwacht and then out at hazendal - how difficult is the route from hazendal green loop and out at hazendal (bot rd)... any info welcome!

might be a silly question - but i`m a member of tygerbergmtb and now permit for bottelary trails -where do you guys fit both cards on the bike? - i would like to leave it in my cbag but sometimes on a short ride i leave my cbag at home - ive go the tygerbermtb card on handlebar, where do you guys i fit the bottrails permit?

hi guys - on mondays/wednesdays and thursdays i train mtb after work for about an hour (sometimes 90min depends on work and "day time" ) - i go home and have supper ASAP - BUT what do you guys have at night, which is healthy etc? thx

hi all - i have a friend whom started cycling this past weekend - she is fit (running) and would like to buy a mtb... budget R8000-R12000 (not more than that) - she is about 1.74m and weight 64kg - jip skinny runner - any ideas of which bike (websites) she can spend her money on - note she also needs to buy shoes / helmet etc.. thx guys
