  1. So then I will stick to XT.
  2. Have you lightly grease the spindle thread on the pedal?
  3. The SonicLink is not to transfer FROM the watch to the PC but from the PC to the WATCH!
  4. No hold on friend. The CS200 uses inra red. The CS300 uses SonicLink/WebLink. That is the sound thing you are talking about. The wife bought me the CS300 for christmas (ok so neither of us could wait till tomorrow) and SonicLink works well, thank you very much.
  5. Oh and judging from the wifes body language - bet the couple had a fight in the car after the "event"!
  6. Phew, now this was some reading... When will the world just grow the hell up? I decided to be a better driver. Not gonna loose it when you cut me off - what for? I will achieve nothing by waving my hands in anger and swearing at you. And if you do run into me -great! I need the money! And broken bones heal and chicks dig scars anyway! Stop reacting to every little pin prick in life for heavens sake! This thread was like watching paint dry. No blood. No broken bones. Only ego's everywhere you look. Yawn!
  7. Now there is some good christmas news.
  8. OK so I can still use my XTR chain and XT rear derailer?
  9. I have a XT cassette on the bike but the SRAM is cheaper. So, are they compatable/swoppable? And which one is more durable?
  10. The rear tyre has already been replaced with a GEAX. The front will be raplced soon.
  11. Nice. Very pretty...But I will have to get new rotors then. I have CL. Oh, by the way, these are QR rims?
  12. Noted. But out of stock almost everywhere.
  13. Will PM JB and have just pm'd WorcesterWheeler.
  14. Just had a thought about custom wheels - who builds wheels here on the hub? Pta or Cpt (Going down to Cpt end of January...) Will even considder Jhb?
  15. This was the plan - but now I have to ge a wheel builder...And then there is the warranty thing...
  16. Thanks but carbon wheels arn't my thing...Thanks to Alban Lekata!
  17. Not sure about them Mavics...Also thinking XTR, XC one and Cobalt.
  18. The current setup is DT Swizzzzzzzzz X1800 on the bike. Had them for 2 years. The still run true and are BOMBproof. The only reason for wanting new wheels is because of the hubs on the X1800 - THEY SUCK. I have replaced the bearings twice already. So... 1. Crank Brothers Cobalt blue from CWC - Have only heard good things about them. Only problem is, they are blue. C'mon Chris, I don't do blue! 2. Easton XC One from buycycle. Good price. Nice upgrade for what I have. 3. Mavic Crossride atc from CRC - only problem her is I have mixed reviews on these. 4. Shimano XTR from CRC - out of stock. Damn! Ok, so I can wait untill February before Sabie. And I weigh 84kg. C'mon, gimme some christmas advice (and spirit) Hoho ho!
  19. And a merry christmass to you all...
  20. 2 years! That is how long I had my crossmark on the rear wheel (The front one will go 3 I think). The rear one started looking like a slick! I replaced it with a Geax - just because I can. The crossmark is a good tyre for hardpack. Stay clear from muddy conditions it has little grip there. It is durable (which makes it heavy), lasts long (Not as sticky) and good for most surfaces (does not clear mud very well)
