  17. Lol yeah I know it does look like an o - rings but its actually hard plastic. If you were to use rubber there it would not serve any purpose as you would actually compress it when you tighten the crank.
  18. Here is a pic... This one has two "spacers" on the spindle but you can play around with only one at first and see what the clearance is like.
  19. Yeah just noticed your link was for pressfit bb. I remember a while back I had a similar issue on a frame I used. There is a spacer about 5mm think that slides over the spindle right up to the back of the spider to make up the clearance between the chainring and the frame. I never had that in and the chainring was sitting to close to the frame as well. Trying to find a pic for you to illustrate....
  20. Its the black parts in between the frame and bb cups. Clearly visible in this pic below.... http://fcdn.mtbr.com/attachments/sram/542735d1273677952-sram-xx-chain-ring-gap-chain-stay-img464.jpg
  21. Can be done. Depending on the frame. There is some options available. As posted in another thread by FLowta: http://enduro-mtb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/gt-6428-2-780x520.jpg Or the chain and seat stays can be extended if its carbon. Don't know if that will change the geometry, guess it does to a certain extend but shouldn't be too much.
  22. Short read on GXP spacing http://forums.mtbr.com/sram/sram-xx-chain-ring-gap-chain-stay-606561.html And maybe this will help too http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/xx332/CSNeoM4A1/IMG_20120510_060752.jpg
  23. LBS will have spacers. I normally run 1 spacer on the drive side but it all depends on the frame I suppose and getting the clearance right.
  24. Cant see if this is BB30 or GXP. If GXP do you have any spacers between the drive side bearing cup and the frame?
  25. Dudes give this a rest now. All parties involved have already cried their cries and said their apologies. This very easily could have gone south as all the tell tale signs of a dodgy deal was there. But seller kept his word and buyer apologised. No need to troll this tread anymore. Mods please close this beast.
