Something like that. As I said in my previous post it doesn't mean the one is weaker or stronger than the other. Bear in mind what makes the frame strong is the lay up of the carbon and what plays a integral role in the strength is also the resin used and how much. Too little resin and the fibres will just be fibre and too much resin the different sheets wont be able to bond to each other. Building a frame they don't just use one specific weave of carbon. A frame is made up of a whole array of different weaves and in some areas there is way more than in others.
