OK so we bought slime for our Mountain bikes to test and see if slime works or not and this is our result.... This past Friday we went for a casual MTB ride in the streets and veld. On our way home my friend got a flat wheel - luckily near the house. Ok so at first we where disgusted about the slime that did not work ... so we thought we had to investigate and see why it did not work ... We took the tire off and this is what we first saw So know we wanted to find out why the slime leaked and did not do its job because we could not see any thorns in the tire ...and this was the result NOTE: This thorn was in the tube - we pulled it out of the tube ... There was no signs of thorns on the tire So with further investigation we also saw the follow Ok so we put the tube back in the tire WITHOUT PATCHING it and inflated it again and spin the wheel ... it got flat agian ...we inflated it again and then it stayed harder ...so we put it back onto the bike .... pumped it and went for another ride ... and it is still not flat today .... so according to me ... slime works PS: If you count the green dots (slime that came out) you will see there is no less than 7 puncture holes ..... mtbN00b2009-09-01 01:41:25
