I bought a set of Mavic ES's from Comobike in 2006. It had a serial number on it. I am sure Mavic uses serial numbers to trace the manufacturing date as well as to which Agent/Distributor/Shop they sold it to.

I guess something like this will cost in the region of R100K .... R30K for Bora's, R40K for the frame, and R30K for Super Record Groupset ....

Spartan ... there are no import duties at SA side, only 14% VAT and a levy of 10% of VAT (so generally just make the VAT 15.4%) ... offcourse the shipping cost ... thats all.
